  • effect of increased power windings

Question occurs. If running a bifilar coil, ie one trigger and one power and that delivers a power output (P), is it logical that if a trifilar was used, ie one trigger and two power, the output would be 2Pm (and hence on n*power windings).

And before anyone comments, I realise the notion of power is different in a radiant system, but ... if ultimately it is to be useful (battery) or inverter, then it seems a logical question.

My gut feeling is is not quite nxP as the coail dimesions will get bigger and hence the energy density inducing in the coil will drop .. although my electromagetics understanding is from university almost 30 years ago so not sure if I remember it right.

    Any thoughts ?

In theory the electric field passing through the magnetic field should replicate itself. So it is possible that perhaps you might be on to something. If not 2x unity but at least maybe unity plus a little. One may be able to us the center for a trigger and the two outer for receivers. However the two receivers also transmit so they would require two other receivers. So in effect we have a damped wave pattern of reception with ultimately diminishing returns; as per a damped wave, but also perhaps a higher return from each damped portions magnification.
Just my two cents for what is is worth, if anything.
