Bi-Torrid Transformer

Has anyone tried this one.
I'm working on a build on this one.
Got my cores that I scored from transformers that fit together
pretty close. I got a E-core for the middle and I chopped one for
2 C-cores for the outside torrid.

I've read through the topic at OU and looked over Thane's patent.
I'm in the process of winding the primary.

I will post pics of the cores as soon as I can get them uploaded to
the net.

I put together a quick replication a few months back but have been waiting to build my variable power supply to properly test it.

At 40VAC I was getting 10VAC at each secondary, but then my core started heating up a ton and I put it on the shelf until later.

My attention has been tied up in other things as of late but I still want to look at it closer sometime. Let me know how it goes
