  • Rick's Golf Cart Project

    Hi All,

I thought it would be a great idea to start a new thread regarding Rick's Golf Cart Project which was shown at the Conference last week.

I know a lot of people worldwide would love to build this project especially father and sons... What a great little device to drive to the corner store on!

It would be great if Rick or anyone in the 'know' could post some details about the design and what would be required to successfully build one.

I know the device was brand new and hadn't undergone any testing before the conference but I am sure we would all love to hear of any tests you have done since then. I know we all can't wait to find out the range of that little beauty!

Once again thank you for taking this technology to the world, I hope we will be able to follow your clear concise instructions and change the world forever!

    Look forward to your thoughts!

    Thanks,

    Ozy

There was no golf cart. It was a lawn mower tractor that was powered by a window motor. Get your facts straight. I know, I wired it and got it running at 2:00 am in the morning. No ego, just facts.

      Sarcastic but still a start...

      Ok,

      Great our first clarification!

Damm report told me lies, said it was a gold cart and could run forever!

Yep from the pictures it is obviously a lawn mower without the mowing bit, but for practical reasons I think most people will probably build a golf cart or go kart arrangement. Roll bars are a great invention but also more practical, unless of course you think we could hook up the mower. WOW!

So Bits you made it, so have you managed to take her for a spin and find out how much going she's got!

Would you care to speculate on the type of arrangement you used?

What were your first findings on speed and range?

      Thanks,

      Ozy

        Aussie,
I can not speak for the now more modified tractor at the conference since I was not there. But Rick debuted to tractor On memorial day I believe. Those in the Monopole forums were notified through email of this wonderful day. He drove it in a parade for a couple of hours. Granted at the time it was slow rolling. But I still feel that even if he was going .01 MPH and ended the trip with the same battery Voltage as when he started (which he did) then this is huge.

          Thanks Red,

Would anybody else like to share any info they have on this design?

Bits, any updates on testing the model that was shown at the conference?

          Thanks,
          Ozy
