I just stumbled across this thread. That's a marvellous device you have built, I can see many practical applications for it. From your description of it, it sounds very flexible as well.

I don't have any issues with the price tag. To me it's basically a computer that totally automates the battery charging and swapping process AND keeps the batteries in top shape. My deep cycle batteries are $300 each. If this means that in a few years time I don't need to replace them I figure I will have saved about $2,400!!

This will also save me hours from having to manually swap my battery banks around and making sure that I don't over or undercharge them. For someone that has a solar setup it means that the only maintenance required is to check the acid levels every month or so.

I don't think that you understand battery capacity levels. A battery that is 80% discharge will have a resting voltage of 12.2. No I am not "Sipping" out each battery. All the batt swapper does is manage the each batterys charge and load cycle. If you need to "Rejuvinate" your Batts, may I suggest the new PIC controlled rejuvinator from Renaissance.

Not a lack of understanding just a misunderstanding! When you said your device contains Telsa Switch Technology, I thought that this implies you might be able to hook up any battery and it would rejuvenate it as well.

Just clarifying that you need to use good working batteries, or use a separate rejuvenating device before attaching it to Bits swapper.
So obviously this a normal standard PIC battery swapper, no mystery.
