Remember the EPA only do as they're told. Monsanto, ConAgra, Bunge, DuPont, CHS, Purdue, ADM, Purina, Coca-Cola, Cargill, they're the one paying the "CORNtributions" to political parties on both sides of government to get decisions like this pushed through. By all means, go after the hatchet men and women who presided over any dereliction of public interest, but don't forget that someone above them pulled the strings. Dig deeper. This is why the wikileaks archives are searchable.

You may not be able tie the real culprits directly to this one crime, but go through the data, searching for company names, CEO's names, product names, and see if you can find something you can prove. You've known for years this shadow government existed. You've known it's tied to shady corporates. You know it's been acting counter to your nation's best interests, and now you have a chance to do something about it.

Remember though, that wikileaks and openleaks and any more sites like them that emerge can only be as strong as the data YOU leak to them. If anyone is privvy to inside information they know can prove a conspiracy, or expose an example of shameless corruption or any schemes of the few against the interest or safety of the many, now is the time to get leaking.

Don't all go for the one target. divide your resources, focus your efforts where your passions are. Choose the topics and causes that appeal to you, and search the raw data. The problem is, there is so much data to search. The solution, get lots of people searching, and condensing and sharing what they find. Use twitter and facebook to communicte and disseminate. Use youtube to educate. Use unrelated tags to get short pieces of condensed information into the hands of people who wouldn't otherwise be exposed to it. The objective of this campaign is to flood snippets of data into the broader population. While this will no doubt make some people apathetic, it will have another much more important spin off effect, it will get to the people who'd care if they knew, if there was proof. I say spin off effect, because the primary goal of the information is that it will be used as evidence to prosecute, not to persecute, the people who are guilty of the real crimes, one by one, until all that's left is a government that knows it answers directly to an electorate that demands of it transparency and accountability as articles of the highest national interest.

I'm not sure exactly how to find that out but i will try. I like bee's. I have about 4 or 5 different kinds that come here to pollinate maybe more. Bumble bee's, honey bee's, native bee's, green back bee's ( not true name) and a couple of others I don't know names of.

I would say that the honey bee's are the only one's that are noticed but it would also kill off other bee's and other pollinators, though probably not with the same devastation as seen in a bee colony, the other insects aren't so vunerable to mass killings.

As faculty members and officers of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, we are concerned by recent reports that the Department of Justice is considering criminal charges against Julian Assange or others associated with Wikileaks.

Journalists have a responsibility to exercise careful news judgment when classified documents are involved, including assessing whether a document is legitimately confidential and whether there may be harm from its publication.

But while we hold varying opinions of Wikileaks’ methods and decisions, we all believe that in publishing diplomatic cables Wikileaks is engaging in journalistic activity protected by the First Amendment. Any prosecution of Wikileaks’ staff for receiving, possessing or publishing classified materials will set a dangerous precedent for reporters in any publication or medium, potentially chilling investigative journalism and other First Amendment-protected activity.

As a historical matter, government overreaction to publication of leaked material in the press has always been more damaging to American democracy than the leaks themselves.

The U.S. and the First Amendment continue to set a world standard for freedom of the press, encouraging journalists in many nations to take significant risks on behalf of transparency. Prosecution in the Wikileaks case would greatly damage American standing in free-press debates worldwide and would dishearten those journalists looking to this nation for inspiration.

We urge you to pursue a course of prudent restraint in the Wikileaks matter.

Today the Congress in Venezuela is trying to pass a Bill to regulates the Internet in the worst style Cuban & China. I think in the next couple days is ready to kill the internet, the congress in Venezula is only one chamber or simply only the congress without senate.

Hugo Chavez seems more powerfull each day and O.A.S. ssshhhhh.... Please US people should avoid using yours taxes to finance that corrupt entity.
It's very sad is like the complete world is going to down to Dark Ages again.

We need stop all of this. We are playing with the rules the Governements gave us, we need our own rules.

I know here almost are North-American but whatever I think this problems is connected around the world and Peoples of the (we) world should be join themselves and defend our rights. It's very sad for me see how the Latin American people goes to ilegally to US and broke the law but this same people seem inable defend their own rights on their own countries, almost of these countries in Latin America are very rich relatively and can give them sufficient food, water etc. Only a little exceptions in Center America like Haiti.

I think US governement should call formely to theses countries why the people needs goes ilegally to US for survive because today seems more like a bussiness for theses corrupts governements because gain remittances foreight currency when theses illegal people sends some money for their families, and is incredible ilegally living in the US but their own countries writes in theirs budgets this money like a export product, that is illegal too and violates clearly the Human Rights because is more like enslavement, because they don't have all theirs righs in US because are illegals, send money to theirs families and THEIR OWN CORRUPT GOVS & BANKS TAKE PART OF THEIR MONEY WITH TAXES THAT IS TRIPLE ILLEGAL.. that personally embarrasses me of to be Human.

Media says government's reaction to WikiLeaks 'troubling'

Ms Gillard has declared the actions of WikiLeaks and Mr Assange "illegal".

Attorney-General Robert McClelland has said the initial leaking of classified documents and their subsequent distribution by WikiLeaks are likely to be illegal.

But the media's open letter notes that so far the government "has been able to point to no Australian law that has been breached".

I think our prime minister is just as bad as sarah palin. She's off with the fairies.

She needs to retract that statement pronto. To think that these people think they can tell people what is illegal without a law to point to is incredible.

Who on earth do they think they are, they are supposed to work for us.

I'm fed up she needs to go. I'm glad i voted all Independant even though they seem to feel the need to align with a major party, the whole shamozle just stinks to high heaven.

Also the greeks are still rioting and there has been firearm projectiles directed towards police. My advice to the police is turn around drop your riot shields and help the rioters take out the garbage. Then you can go back to work to keep the real peace.

Wikirebels - The Documentary

The documentary is made by Swedish SVT, a television network that has been following Assange and Wikileaks since the summer of 2010. Reporters Jesper Huor and Bosse Lindquist travelled to the key countries where Wikileaks operates and managed to create this wonderful film.
The Swedish network Stv has just come out with a timely documentary about WikiLeaks, entitled "Wikileaks: Med Läckan Som Vapen," which translates loosely to "WikiRebels," the English title. The in-depth report has original sit-down interviews with Assange and his underlings, and folks around the Internet are praising its even-handedness.

I had an idea this morning about how we can use the infrastructure already in place to fight errorism(yes, that's spelled correctly). I find it ironic that DHS and Wal*Mart's "Say Something" program are asking us citizens to report suspicious activity while the recent leaks are doing just that. I say Wal*Mart should expand on that idea and have a "Leak Something" center where any anonymous citizen can leak the incriminating information to take down these buffoons. I mean c'mon! I hope you don't mind me correcting your english, I just thought this very simple observation was important. It's not just done in poor countries. It's not just done in openly corrupt countries. It's not even just done with the means to survive. They can entice people away from the civil body with promises of powers that will extend from special positions, or from badges or uniforms. As long as there is lack, there is corruption. And as long as there are greedy people willing to exploit these blandishments, there will be corruption. So outlawing corruption can never end it. We need to outlaw lack and greed.
