Such trees can and should be used in combination with natural trees. The two can complement each other with artificial trees reducing in carbon dioxide accumulation while natural trees, through photosynthesis, continue to provide fresh oxygen needed by living organisms.

Do you have any direct proof that global warming exists and if so, do you have proof that it is the carbon dioxide that is causing it? Also, do you think it is a good idea to introduce artificial trees in to nature? Have you thought what effect these trees might have on the climate or wildlife? I think your statement is not well thought out at all. I do not expect a reply either.. posting your propaganda rubbish on any forum you can find.

I can't tell you how angry I am that our tax dollars went to this project.

You will find many people on this board do not subscribe to the global warming line, and consider it a scam.

Now that said, I do believe that we can be innovative and reduce pollution that our factories make, and deal with toxic dumps. I do believe that we all should be more responsible for our environment, but this project illustrates crystal clear to me that money flows from our tax dollars to those who chant the global warming theme.

It`s as bad as the idea of catching cow farts, co2 or methane is not causing global warming, we produce about .35% c02 which is absorbed with other produced c02 by a natural feedback (plants), the more c02 the more plants thrive. This has worked for billions of years. Animals have also been farting for billions of years so don`t start on that one.
