  • Double Battery Life by Jeffrey S. Davis

Here is a strong claim by a man that doubles battery life, supposedly:

DOUBLE BATTERY LIFE on Popular Batteries provided by Bravenet.com

The closest thing I can think is that it might be some switch that swaps
    batteries out something like this:

    THE TESLA SWITCH

    That's John's image.

Anyone want to take a stab at what he is doing?
    Sincerely,
    Aaron Murakami

    5 million USD...

    Hi Aaron,

His patent is issued in 2003 indeed and he sells the patent rights for 5 million USD on ebay: AMAZING PATENT 4 SALE: DOUBLEBATTERYLIFE - eBay (item 170578173929 end time Dec-21-10 04:40:00 PST)

His patent is US 6570340 B1, link to it is here:
Stirring of electrochemical cells ... - Google Patent Search

He states it works mainly for non rechargeable (alkalyne) batteries and works less for rechargeable ones.

      battery doubler patent

Gyula, thanks for finding that patent.

I thought I searched for it and couldn't find it - but maybe I didn't.

      Anyway, looks straightforward.
      Sincerely,
      Aaron Murakami

THE INVENTOR SAYS (Straight from the horses mouth)

NOTE: Our normal website has been hacked again, which makes it temporarily unavailable (now who would do that 'guess who" the super rich who don't like patents that help alt energy?) Hoping to get it back up shortly. Ebay site is still good (search amazing patent).
The drawings are wrong absolutely (its not tesla switch) or it wouldn't be patentable would it?
Its a new structure (in patent lingo; did you know that the supreme court ruled a few years ago that there will no longer be patents for "new uses of patents, which torpedoed most inventors and also made business for patent attorneys much much less, very bad decision since 90% of new patents are for new uses).
If you read the patent "carefully" and build it carefully following "exactly" the method (don't presume anything), it works great as advertised (OR ORDER THE KIT ON EBAY to make it quick and easy to demo to your investor friends). We only recommend it for small cells that are normally thrown in the trash when voltage falls too low to power the device, so it works super good for flashlights, motorized toys and other devices that use alkaline and other small cells; the patent circuit extracts almost every joule of energy out (IE we just the other day took out a "heavy duty" D cell from the searchlight version of the flashlight and were shocked when the voltmeter read less than 0.1 volts !!!!! YES IT works ! and very well too.
We ask any serious investor to come take a look at our demo's and we guarantee that if you are sincere and true you will very impressed, (we shy away from those we believe would steal it, or use it for bad purposes or suppress it, the world needs this and now.
And its very cheap to manufacture, at just 5 or 10 cents per unit for rudimentary flashlight and toy types, and after tooling up expense $$ for digital cameras, hearing aids, and other more complicated devices, it can be almost no extra cost at all (after tooling up is done at factory level).
If anyone wants to know more write to us at InventPeace@aol.com. Honestly, Jeffrey S. Davis -Inventor and owner of patent 6,570,340 Stirring...
P.S> It does have a good use for electric cars (which use RECHARGEABLES" as it can with just the flip of a switch make all the voltage onboard down to for example, 12 volts from for example 400 volts , thus it saves worry about electrocution (lawsuits and damages), and it also helps prevent fires, then with just the flip you are back up to full 400 volts for example. Believe that use right there is worth its weight in gold just for the comfort of knowing you are safe while working on it. *yes its in our electric car (ZAP CAR) and golf cart (can go up to 30mph on stock motor and normal number of batteries). (tis not obvious until you see it, and then the audience starts gibbering and calling their friends with words like incredible and fantastic; true story, we have credible business people who are witnesses). It has another more narrow use with RECHARGEABLES in that since it extracts most all the energy from the batteries, it can provide an emergency only mode (in which the user gets a warning that the batteries are being abused) but who cares if you win a race and get the first place trophy !

          @inventpeace

That is just a overlay on a website. Anyone can change the code so that they can see it. go to the website and right click and select view source. Then press CRTL-A and CRTL-C "select all and copy" then open notepad and paste it all in notepad. next you need to remove the code that is below the line. Then click save and name it "website.html' and save it to the desktop. double click on the file on the desktop and it will open in your webbrowser and then you can read the file just fine.

Ok, let me see if I have this right. The patent was issued in 2003. You were probably working on this for at least three years prior... so you have about 12 years or more into this project?

You claim it is worth +$500,000,000 million and can be purchased for $5,000,000.

Now, there are lots of folks with $5,000,000 and most would jump at a chance to convert at your suggested return - but after YEARS, no buyers?

            What's stopping them?
#1 Not enough proof of your claim?
#2 It doesn't work the way you say it does?
#3 Your opportunity or suggested return is unbelievable?

Are you not yet convinced that if your invention is real, that it is beyond you to bring forth to the world?

So many have passed to the next world trying to harness the golden goose. Why not do something novel - give it to the world? If this technology truly has transformational capacity, simply getting one common device to the market should spawn almost unlimited benefits to you.

Or you could continue to ride around for many more years in your Zap car, with the Jesus Light taped to the dash to show you the way.
