Both desk lamps are powered by the USB port on my laptop, but can run off battery packs as well.

Nice demo totoalas BUT i noticed your meter showing a low battery warning which can make it show an ever increasing voltage. I had this happen to me once and i am sure i saw one of the members here post a video on youtube showing the same thing.. he promptly beat up the meter on camera I am not trying to disprove your claim but double check to be sure.

you are making some serious advancement on this build. are you tweaking the ckt out completely, or still holding true to the previous schematics?

this is my initial test and will do more

output center tap to pos or neg of source battery

ps see my analog measurement on same post

exactly as xee2 with two outer tap to parallel lamps and two inner taps to the diodes going to pos or neg source battery

almost had it



maybe if we use the ssg circuit on this transformer can do that

Could you please post a schematic of exactly how you have your circuit hooked up? Your description of it is a little hard for me to understand. You are saying something about hooking diodes from the center tap to the plus or minus of the battery. If you can post the schematic it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Carrol,
the transformer out put have two coils 110 0 0 110 two diodes are hooked @ the center tap and goes to the pos or neg os source battery

the outer coils are connected in parallel with the lamp load
