Just put up 10 unisolar panels now peaking at 780 W of power each day, normally starts at 300 W by 9 AM.

I love solar as it requires so little input to maintain.

Hi all, I've been running 1000 W of solar for 2 yrs. 3500 amp hr. battery bank and it's been great. I need to start recharging with a bigger capacity bedini and am trying to look into a jetijs charger. I was also wondering if Mart has any more info. on the jetijs he uses with his new solar. Doug

Hi there, my dad just got a 4kw system installed on the house a week before Christmas, and we are selling excess energy back to the grid (takes about 10 years to pay for itself). My plan is to somehow connect this up to a Bedini charger or some such setup like 49er suggests.

You may need to do a search on that as Jetjis has posted on here excellent description of his circuit. It is only a slightly modified Bedini circuit and both Jetjis and I have found it to be the best charging one we have encountered.

As of now my circuit it out of commission I have to do some diag work on it but look around the forum Jetijs posted info in the solid state forum, and in another one that I can't remember.

          Cheers

I built the 4 Tranny but I can't get it to fire yet. Havent give up yet thow.
I have almost cpmpleted a 18 tranny but gave it up for now untill I get the
4 tranny to work first. I would like to charge 4 to 6 golf cart batt with solar in one day at least that is my goal.

Best to start with only 1, then keep adding transistors. I have two sets of 5. I just found a bad transistor in my set, now it is operational again.

Be sure to have high wattage resistors inline i use 25 W for mine, and heat sync for the transistors is a good idea.

                Jetjis charger:

Been looking for this. Anyone find it?

I find it odd how small this thread is LOL.
                I have 1100 watts.
                Love it.

Has anyone seen my Bedini Ceiling Fan that pushes the warm air down, and charges batteries as an added bonus? Me neither. 'Bout time I made one!!!!! :P
