  • The bloom box. What do you think of this.

Sorry if this has been discussed before.

Take a look at this video. One little box is capable of powering a house:

    search first

You can always search for threads that are already in existence
    before starting a new thread.

I did but the words bloom and box are quite common and I got a lot of threads so I didn't know if the bloom box had been discussed before.

        Google search

Yeah, the vbulletin search isn't the greatest.

However, if you put your search in quotes like: "bloom box"
        it will narrow it down.

Also, when the vbulletin search doesn't cut it for me, I use
google - this is what I type in:

        Code:
        site:http://www.energeticforum.com putkeyword(s) here
        like:

        Code:
        site:http://www.energeticforum.com bloom box
The site search function in google will search the keyword only within
        the domain that is specified.

Hope that helps - need to post that in the Forum Support forum I think.
        Sincerely,
        Aaron Murakami

The "site:" operator in Google surely is usefull,
but the search terms usually go first.

Another (Hopefully) helpful point to make
amongst the operators and boolean expressions is
the dot between terms forcing them to be adjacent.

              Search Entry:
              Bloom.Box -Flowers +Catalytic site:website.com

the searches will start with the words touching each other,
them in numbers of seperator words from adjacent.

Assuming none of the search term words are
"Common" words like "And", "The", etc...

              Hope this helps

What I would find very important for searches but I don't think it exists is finding wrods that are in the same paragraph.

Many times I look for a couple of words and found plenty of rubbish like a list of news and each word is in a different piece of news.

Any idea how to make such search?
                Thanks.

You do "place them into Quotes" or make+a+plus+sign+between+each+word.
That should only show Results with the Words in Row, if i am not wrong.

Btw This box is nice, but i do wonder where it will go, when it works till now only in big companys.
And how nice, that the Inventor is such a smart Guy
with a big grin and shiny Dollar signs at his Eyes.
Theorizer are like High Voltage. A lot hot Air with no Power behind but they are the dead of applied Work and Ideas.

                    Yeah, the + we know,
                    is Google's . (Dot).

The dot's seem easier (No SHIFT) on consecutive words in strings,
the plus's easier on single words that must occur in results.

They seem inetrchangable in sentence strings.

I truely hope Google holds true to their word on their Bloom Box istallation.

They promised a public release of TCO on these after a two year period.

I forget when they put that rather nice huge bank of them in,
but it has been at least or almost a year if I recall correctly.

                    I see their point,
they wanted to see what went wrong,
                    and what the repairs costed,
before they made a positive public statement.

                    I can respect that.

                    Anyone know more on this,
                    or know an employee that
can give us a timeline on this ?
