Wow!
What's This Rod? Can you share details about it?

Sorry about the delay with the reply.
This is not my work I am post this for another researcher.
I was very impressed with the innovation of the use of the washing machine.
I will post more data as it come to hand.
I am helping him with some electronics for this impressive modification of an old washing machine.
Here is a PDF on the type of F&P you can source.

Rod you brilliant mad scientist, you know how many of these are lying around, i have always thought we should use them for vertical axis turbines but this is a great idea, Ren and i tried to mess with the Bedini side of these but with not much luck, wish we could have some data for you mate but have only done that

theres 42 coils in there, three separate phases with 14 coils per phase, all wired in series. There are three hall sensors there for each phase. In Rods pic above it looks like there is only one phase connected.
The tricky part with this motor is the magnetic configuration on the rotor. With halls its shouldnt be too hard to fire though, but for triggering with a trigger coil it will be difficult. Its got 14 magnets embedded in the rotor, each magnet has multiple poles, 4 poles from what I can gather. So you have NSNS facing three coils at once (one from each phase). Kinda hard to explain without pics.
Rod Ive spoken to a chap from NZ who has modified one of these to run off the Bedini SG circuit. Another chap posted some pics of one that had 2/3 of the coils cut off, so it was a 14 coiler, essentially just one phase in operation.

I am excited about pushing on with this motor. a ready made multi phase
pulse motor.
it represents a very quick and convenient way into Bedni type motors

Hi All
I have some drawings for a concept stator for converting the f & p motors into window motor format
if anyone would like to build it I am am happy to provide scale drawings for cnc or laser cutting, also If some-has access to that set of gear I would appreciate an extra set of parts, if you can.
Ren I am back in Sydney & have obtained a motor to work on this concept with....I don't have a lab or tools here in Aus, so would appreciate some help....If some you know would like to help me put this together.
in my opinion these are the best options.....
1) custom stator to match magnets
I have designed a custom stator to drive the F&p motor in window motor fashion
2) 3 phase bedini cole bipolar circuit,to drive standard motor.
A friend helped design a 3ph circuit for an adams motor based on the ssg circuit, with a little work this could probably be modified to be a 3 ph window motor circuit which will run the motor virtually unmodified
3) modify rotor to have 42 mags in n/s layout, rewire poles to clockwise & ccw winds to operate same as ricks fan motors this is relatively easy as the mags can be removed fairly easily on some models & replaced with 42 mags to match stator.
as there is a steel band behind the mags n/s would probably work best.
I will post pics soon posting from wifi late & time to go home.
paul.

F&p motor mods
Hi here are the pics of the window motor stator design for the F & p Smartdrive motor.
parts to be made from perspex or similar plastic,10 mm thick,
with 14 loop shaped coils that interact with 3 mags at a time.
a loop coil has a virtual pole in its centre so will interact 3 mags at a time with a n/s mag motor eg the standard F&P motor rotor.
this drawing shows 28 slots for 14 window coils.windings are in the spaces shown in light blue.Attached Files

f&p motor mods
I have thought alot about the best configurations for modding these motors to be adams motors or bedini motors.
the main thing apparent is that there is no free unapposed attraction to the stator poles with the standard layout.
Changing the number of poles on the stator or rotor seems the best fix.
I have cut down a stator with a jigsaw fitted with a metal blade to make a 21 pole stator....
so this can be done with ordinary hand tools.
I have not finished the motor yet but intend to match it to a 42 pole rotor.
a friend of mine went one further & made a 14 pole motor, with bedini triggers.
I think more poles will give a better motor action.
when you unwind the coils on these you will see that there is about 9.5meters per stator coil x 14 poles for each wind.
the total copper on one of these for all 3 phases will fill a std bedini monopole spool.
here are some pics of configurations possible with this motor,
remember that 2 motors can be placed on the same shaft with little effort.
