Hi toranarod, thanks for sharing. With my air core dual rotor pulse motor, repulsion has the same torque as attraction.
So I am surprised at your results, considering one would think the magnets would be dragged back to the core somewhat with eddy currents as well.
Maybe your pulsing it just right and getting some repulsion kick departing the coil/core as well. Or since it has good speed, the natural back drag to core doesn't have much effect.
Did you grasp the shaft before when you had it in repulsion for comparison. And if so, how many times more torque would you say it has in attraction mode.
