Still stucking in classic Theories without practical Experiments or plain debunking?
Yes.I'm not good in building :-( Beside theorizing is safe
I have some bad notion to forgot what I know/learned once I'm starting building something. And I'm slow and tend to start 5-6 projects at once then forgot about them for months. Now you see...
However maybe this year I will post some working device though it will be too late probably. The cat is out of the bag right now....
I thought the article was a veritable mine field. But I provided the link because of the noted experimental history.
Schemes to poach grid power are the farthest from my interest, but in the absence of a "hard" connection one would think that all other non-depleting use of energetic sources should be available to all.
Yesterday, I charged six shake light capacitors while I charged a 12v deep cycle battery. I used grid AC converted to DC (4v) to charge with a joule thief circuit wired to the battery, but the flashlights charged wirelessly.
Source AC with or without the wireless charging demonstrated the same current draw.
Who owns the 'B' bananas ?
You do
You've paid for the power that came through the wall, be it for a TV, a cooker or to create a banana republic.
I would think that for many many years the electric companies will charge for power used...which you are still doing. An analogy may be the common house bulb of 60W. We may buy Energy Saver 13W bulbs that are the equivalent of the original 60W filament bulb, but we don't find ourselves waiting in line at the payments desk to give them extra cash that would have been normally used.
An intriguing side to wireless energy, are the huge amount of bonus side effects. You can have your 13W bulb powered up, to see an experiment that uses what would normally have been used by that bulb. Such as running LED's, small motors, charging a phone...all with what would have been used by the so called 'Energy Saver' in the first case !!!
If you like, the banana circuit produces an orchard full of different fruit.
It seems one of Don Smith's circuits used this principal. He said it worked only if the coils were in resonance and that whether you used one coil or five it would draw the same amount of power. While I know he did not make it easy to duplicate his devices I do believe he had working devices and was a smart old guy that wanted people to understand and do the work to get the result rather than give it away.
There is no important work, there are only a series of moments to demonstrate your mastery and impeccability. Quote from Almine

I did think about it similar last time. One difference is, that D. Smith used not only exatly same Coils, but some with thicker wire, what equal the other Coils. I think, that is something, what someone should count in too.
Theorizer are like High Voltage. A lot hot Air with no Power behind but they are the dead of applied Work and Ideas.
