Hi Everyone,
I know it's been a while since my last post but I've been busy hacking around the work shop. Here's a little sneak peak of my latest blunder winding down.I made this motor using steel wool as a core material casted in resin and it was a bit of PIA to make but none the less a fun project.I wound it with 100 turns of 20 gage wire on each stator and each half of the rotor.I actually forgot about this design some time ago but came across it in some of my old notes recently and figured WTF .The thing that intrigued me about this design was to see if the push/pull of the rotor would actually be of any benefit and I thought that the commutator would be a good arrangement for some other experiments I've been meaning to get around to.Anyways, I hope you all enjoy and if anyone has any questions or suggestions feel free to post them. .
