Hi folks, I may have posted this idea before, though this is a different way to build it that is much easier.
It uses PC chassis fans and a slip ring type setup to remove current.
This setup would be 3 feet in diameter and one could line a shaft with multiples of these PC fan rotors.
Also, it uses a pulse motor setup off the shaft.
It should require low rpm to get the PC fans up to a decent generating speed, due to the larger diameter.
The hope is, that once the PC fans are loaded, they will reflect very little back drag on the pulse drive motor, since they also eject air in the opposite direction which may help, especially if the generating blades are more symmetrical.
Though one could also place spars across rotor pieces to mount regular small motors and mount them with some kind of propellers that would spin up the motors for generating purposes, instead of the PC fans.
