This investigation describes and demonstrates a novel technique for the visualization of magnetic fields. Two ferrofluid Hele-Shaw cells have been constructed to facilitate the imaging of magnetic field lines. We deduce that magnetically induced photonic band gap arrays similar to electrostatic liquid crystal operation are responsible for the photographed images and seek to mathematically prove the images are of exact dipole nature. This is the ring magnet circles version. All Rights Reserved M. Snyder 12/24/2008
Hey guys, I finally got some data on my muller generator. I am not
claiming anything what so ever. I would like you guys to watch the video and
give me some insight on my data. I know hall current sensors can vary, I have
some analog current meters ordered, but the data is still interesting. So let me
know what you guys think. I'm probably not going to leave the video up too long. Muller motor test - YouTube
Hello Shadesz did you finish that circuit I sent you?
Not sure how I missed this. Unfortunately the circuit is still sitting on my shelf waiting for me to give it attention. There are only a couple of more weeks until the semester is over, hopefully I can get it built before the next semester starts. I hope all is well my friend.
Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone else's ~BW~ It's kind of fun to do the impossible ~WD~ From now on, I'll connect the dots my own way ~BW~ If I shall be like him, who shall be like me? ~LR~ Had I not created my whole world, I would certainly have died in other people’s ~AN~

Thanks,

How do you have that set up? How are you driving it? How many pickup coils? How are they wired? Etc. lol seems I want insight into your build. I would give you insight to your data if I had any.

Thanks, but the input is 22.5 vdc @3.7 amps so thats 83.25 watts
and the other side is 125 vdc @ .98 amps so that is 122.5 watts. So it still very interesting!
Hey Shades, the set up is 9 coil sets and 10 magnets, nsnsns. I am only using 3 coil sets. the other coils are doing nothing, they have to changed, I cant drive them. The 3 coils I am using are 16 ga wire BIFILAR 110 turns on a 1" black sand core. 2 coils are driving in repulsion and 1 in attraction, the one that is in attraction is the ONLY one Im pulling power from. I pulse the HI and LO of all coils.

So this is coil shorting the peaks of one coil set? Or bemf collection of one coil set?
What is the mix of the core material? And how did you orient the cores while curing, magnets on ends of core?
Sounds like you made some good cores. Great results so far. How about trying to hook up a dc to dc converter?
No, Im not shorting the coil, the attraction pulse is wide and overlaps the center of the core, thus "braking" the rotor a little bit. This is where the high voltage comes from and it is usable directly into a resistive load, unlike coil shorting has to put into a cap. There is a FWBR across the coil and that is the output.
The core is made from Oregon Black Beach Sand, I got off EBAY, it prospecting sand that has been "pulled" by magnets. So it is highly magnetic.
I mix it with polyester resin, I use as little resin as possible, just enough for the sand to glue together. Then pack it in a PVC mold, cap the ends and put a magnet on each end attracting each other. DO NOT make a pourable consistency, you will be wasting your time!
As far as the dc-dc converter, I plan on it, but I want to finish the motor, I only have 3 coil sets. I still need to make 6 more sets, and all the switching for them, and money is tight!

Nice work Nolan! By the noise it's generating we can probably assume you are losing some power to friction. I'll assume some better bearings and tighter tolerances may yield even more dramatic results. That's not to say anything bad about your build but to say if it was in production it may be really well into OU. Have you considered trying to loop it so as to have it self powering? I followed RomeroUK's info on OU for the first several hundred pages but haven't looked at it lately so I'm not up to speed on the latest. Does your setup follow his original setup mostly? Best of luck with your work on this.
There is no important work, there are only a series of moments to demonstrate your mastery and impeccability. Quote from Almine
If you can spare some time and wish to disclose information, would you be
kind enough to at least describe how you keep the attraction pulse on longer
and from where are you tapping the output voltage.

Thanks wizard! Yes it is noisy, but only when the "attractive" coil is being pulsed and I sure my tolerances arent NASA approved. Ive had it running at 12,000 rpm and she held together, but you are right built better would yield better performance.
My build isnt like Romereo's at all other that being "muller" style dynamo. I think that I am closer to what Bill Muller was doing but who knows.
