    Cold fusion Energy Catalyzer

In January 2011, two Italian scientists announced they had invented a reactor that fuses nickel and hydrogen nuclei at room temperature, producing copper and throwing off massive amounts of energy in the process. Sergio Focardi and Andrea Rossi demonstrated their tabletop device before a standing-room-only crowd in Bologna, purportedly using 400 watts of power to generate 12,400 watts with no hazardous waste. They told observers that their reactors, small enough to fit in a household closet are able to produce electricity for less than 1 cent per kilowatt hour.

The new tests with the energy catalyzer, which seems to generate heat by an unknown nuclear reaction, took place in Bologna on 19 and 28 April, 2011.

As in previous tests the objective was to measure the net energy that the device generates as accurately as possible.

The results of the two tests showed a developed net power of between 2.3 and 2.6 kilowatts – of the order of a large stove plate. Input electric power was in the order of 300 watts.

Italian Scientists Claim (Dubious) Cold Fusion Breakthrough - FoxNews.com

There may be some credibility to these claims if only from the fact that public demonstrations and independent verifications were allowed.

Cold Fusion has been around for some time, since the days of "The Patterson Power Cell". Although, it is only recently that this technology is being accepted into the scientific community. Pons and Fleischmann did some work work with cold fusion also... Frank Znidarsic wrote a few papers on this subject which may help those looking for a more in depth view.

Cold Fusion has been for many years but I think that they couldn't replicate the process with realiatiblity. This could be right technology.

There are now proven technologies that produce free energy, like Dan Nocera from MIT and this cold fusion, but it has to get in mass production or it won't do any good to us.

I wonder if it would be possible to spend some weeks with Dan Nocera's team and learn about the tecnology. The more people know it the sooner some company will mass produce it.

Rossi's E-Cat is off to a great start, 97 units operating facilities in 4 countries, and a waiting list to go in other countries.

Also a few more manufacture plants coming online this year.

          Legend of cold fusion

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought cold fusion was discovered by Philo Farnsworth back in the 30's or 40's? I imagine there are a variety of recipies with which one can "cook-up" some OU. I cannot accept that only the most exoctic are viable. Though I have no doubt the best recipes are sequestered & recluse from visible funding. Indeed Bushman as much as implied fusion drives are matured and deployed.

I guess it will be a matter of time that other researches do cold fusion with more common materials.

How much do the units cost? I didn't know they were in production already.
I guess they will be very expensive until mass production but anyway it is very good news.

A very small amount of Nickle Oxide last years. The hydrogen last also. Both are VERY CHEAP. The byproduct is minimal according to reports!

Toxic is relative. One spoon full of poison, or byproducts from Thousands of barrels of oil?

Actually Pons & Fleishmans cold fusion experiment did work and has been replicated over 1107 times. The only problem is no scientific institution wants to commit career suicide by admitting this.
