Magnetic Generators

I was wondering if anyone have heard of magnetic generators. I had run to a lot of sites that sell plans to create one but I don't know if it's worth it.
There are a lot of videos on youtube you might want to check, just type "magnetic generator".
Did anyone ever built one?

I personally bought some Neodymium Magnets to experiment and would be happy to know that these generators indeed work!

Lenz law is a tuff nut to crack.

there was the romag that if you look hard enough
you can find the pdf for free.

lately there has been interest in the romero
which is axial generator close to the muller design.
There is something missing that is unknown
but some real hard effort is being made to
discover what romero may have done to make it work.

If you look at the romag flux pattern and proportionality
and orientation of the coil to the flux path you can see what
the engineer was trying to do.

The magnets are on center and alternate N S N S
so the flux path is from edge to edge forming a crescent
in a daisy chain fashion. This is illustrated in the pdf.

In order to get a meaningful discussion you would need to
find someone who built and tested the mini romag.

Howard Johnson had also spent much time and was
keen on flux geometry related to Lenz.
He later modified his crescent shaped magnets to include
multi wedge magnetic surfaces having many edges.
Johnson's data is one of the best sources of info on
magnetic flux.
