Hello,
All of you great fellas probably know me as a solid state circuit kind of guy, which is all well and good, but really this is just my personal application of the great number of interesting concepts which swirld around my little head. I am at the point now where I want to incorporate such ideas into passive living structures.
How do we heat our homes through natural ordering of heat gradients, and their effects? (weather, wind, rain etc.)
How do we cool hour homes in the heat of summer without active input?
How do we naturally create the careful balance of energies which are necessary to our comfort?
I wanted to start this thread as a way for people to share and discuss such possibilities.
The concept of Passive Homes is what I am after, and correct me if I am wrong, but Peter Lindemann is also very much into this topic, and it would be wonderful if he could share his great insight and years of experience. (I have only been in this "OU" game for maybe 4 years)
