Atoms move for free. It's all about resonance and phase. Make the circuit open and build a generator.

    Hey Inquorate,

Looks good, I like it I'm glad it's Teds too he's very experienced.

It's just a coincidence but Ted's circuit looks a little like mine I posted last night. I haven't built mine yet and it's a bit different just the recovery is similar. The reed is drawn out of place and the bifilar coil is drawn separated.

Anyway I am getting right to it now I seen Teds motor. I'll have to study his thread because I don't get the little wheel and micro switch.

Here's the one I posted last night.
    https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=32a91...1277&sc=photos

The similarity just struck me a little while ago, I have a voltage drop device drawn I wasn't sure what I would use, Teds motor and drawing predates mine for sure. Maybe I channeled some of Teds thoughts. Wow.

Anyway I think it is legit for sure and I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

Doe's he have an explanation for the "extra" energy ?

    Cool looking thing too.

    Cheers

The cam and microswitch are your reed switch
Thinking about it, I have tons of microswitches from arcade game repairs and wanted to try some barebones reed type motors. hmm.

What a great motor he has there, especially with the fan on in this weather - free cooling !

Hi folks, Hi ted, thanks for sharing your design and work.
I have built a newman type motor in the past and did see interesting things from it, maybe I should revisit that design.
The one thing that stands out to me about the newman geometry, is that it seems the collapsing spike and possibly other compounding effects may be occurring in the motor/generator, whereas in the normal motor/coil placement it is canceled.
Here are some excerpts from newmans book, that highlights this point exactly and could explain to some degree why your battery is not losing voltage.

I'm not Ted i'm just the guy he asked to be the moderator of his excellent site. Neither have i ever built a motor.

I'm sure he'd be interested in answering any queries but i didn't tell him i was posting a link to his thread here so i doubt he's seen your questions.

Very interesting results from a very interesting build

Hi again folks, I've decided I am going to build a scaled down version of teds design, the cylinder size will be about that of packing tape rolls, 3" inner diameter, in fact I might just use the cardboard cylinder from them, they seem fairly sturdy.
Also, The wire you used ted looks more like 18 awg rather than 24?
I already think i have some 1/2"threaded rod and bearings i can use.
I intend it to power a small fan like ted is showing. I have my old 1" diameter neos I'll be using.
Thanks for the idea ted, it is a rather clever setup and easier to setup.

Hi inquorate, I've been following the thread over at heretical builders, though I can't check the photos, for example woopy is posting photos I can't access because registration is disabled.
If we can't register is there a chance you or someone could post the pictures we can't access here or there, thanks.
