Dear thehydrogenshop,
G'day , sorry we're right out of stock on the 22x 10 and almost half of our stock range are gone now.
There has been a shake up in the magnet industry in China, the Government have placed restrictions on the way Neodymium materials are being used, something about stopping the exploitation of magnetic materials around the world.
The result of this is that material costs have risen from US$30 per tonne to US$250 for the factories to buy the rare earth materials.
Soon it's expected to move to US$350 per tonne.
What this mean is that magnet prices are going to lift by 10 times the current price here in Australia.
We have been wiped out of stock over there last couple of months from buyers around the world snapping up what old stocks are still available.
We have had a orders in for several months now but where a stock order may have been approx $5000 the same order has blown out to $25 - 30k + so we are still debating what to do with all this.
Regrettably out stock very run down . The only magnets I have left available for now are listed on eBay.
If you find one you can use buy up big you will never see these prices again That I can assure you.
