I did some experiments today...
I wound 20 turns of 0.8mm wire on each side of toroid core.
And also ? turns of 0.4mm wire in the middle.
I measured the L values of the coils 40mH and 45mH.
To each put in series 23uF capacitor.
Calculated resonant frequency was about 5.2kHz.
With pulse circuit (arduino + optocoupler + 2N3055) I pulsed the middle coil with frequency from 4.5kHz to 5.5kHz to find resonant frequency. It was around 4.8kHz.
The pulsing voltage was about 30V and I could get out of side coils only about 1.5V. When pulsling with 20kHz I could get light bulb to barely light up.
Anyway I haven't found nothing really exciting I think I will stick to building motors, cause I like to see things move when finished.
