I really like the capacitor idea and I have quit a bit of acrylic sheet, might as well put it to use.

I want a system I can take apart, change and reassemble easily

Something has been stuck in my mind and I cant shake it, remember the guy from Europe that was frying everything from toasters to motors with high voltage and high amps, he removed his vids so I cant post the one I wanted to bring up.
Anyway in one of his vids he used an iron ring to separate the electrodes on his high voltage transformer, I posted the vid on my thread a while back,
what Im wondering is if we used the iron ring to separate the polarity's on a Don Smith device. Im going to take Don Smith to a whole new level.

I have a lot of idea's and Im finally starting to build, I know how it needs to be done, naturally.

          earlier we discussed the following

the past few days , I could not get my mind of Count St Germain

found the following: Alchemy texts archives - The Comte de St Germain manuscript

          Here is the Celestial Part:

"The various texts are written in Chaldean Hebrew, Ionic Greek,
Arabic, Syriac, cuneiform, Greek hieroglyphics, and ideographs. The
keynote throughout this material is that of the approach of the age
when the Leg of the Grand Man and the Waterman of the Zodiac [Orion
          & Aquarius?

-AA] shall meet in conjunction at the equinox and end a grand
          400,000 year cycle HM 4
. This points to a culmination of eons, as
mentioned in the Apocalypse: "Behold! I make a new heaven and a new
earth", meaning a series of new cycles and a new humanity."

I sense this is last comment is a reference to the precession of
the equinoxes and the Sun's entrance into Aquarius.
          Although
straying a bit from alchemy directly, and obviously fostering a
contagious sense of mystery, this book has opened a new field of
speculation for me that I would like to research further. If anyone
has done independent work with this manuscript, or has other
information on any of these points it would be welcome.

            ------------ a little background story

Stefano Breccia, who died in Italy several days ago, led an extraordinary life. Publicly, he taught at several European universities and worked as an electrical engineer in Italy. In his private life he kept a closely guarded secret until 2007 when he released a remarkable book. Contattismi di Massa (translated into English as Mass Contact in 2009) detailed the history of a mysterious group of human looking extraterrestrials that established underground bases in Italy and met with local residents between 1956 and 1978 ( 56 / 78 ) . He privately investigated the Amicizia (Friendship) case over a period of several decades during which he got to meet and question many of the primary witnesses. The events in his book appear like episodes from Star Trek, but are well supported by documentary evidence, the independent investigations of Italy’s finest UFO researchers, and first hand witnesses of the events described. Some of the witnesses were leading statesmen, scholars and high society figures from Italy and Europe. Breccia included a number of prefaces and statements by witnesses detailing the extensive number of people involved in the Friendship case. To commemorate Prof Breccia’s remarkable life and experiences, the Exopolitics Institute is pleased to release online his video presentation at the 2010 Earth Transformation Conference.

Team member Bo Thide of Swedish Institute of Space Physics first conceived the orbital angular momentum idea in a 2007 paper focussed on radio astronomy, but in which he wrote that the concept "paves the way for novel wireless communication concepts."

                  • Nature loves Surfers

The National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL) produces rare isotopes – atoms with weird numbers of neutrons that can disappear in the blink of an eye – for physicists to study in order to understand the basic workings of the universe. They do this by accelerating stable nuclei up to half the speed of light and smashing them apart. Though fast beams of the rare isotope products can be studied in many experiments, they need to be slowed down for others.

During the last decade, NSCL pioneered gas cell stopping technology where fast beams of rare isotopes were slowed to a virtual standstill through interactions with helium gas. Once slowed, however, the challenge became getting them out of the gas to study before they decayed.

“The helium gas inside the device is like honey to ions,” explains Georg Bollen, Experimental Systems Division Director for the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB), the $615 million Department of Energy project that will subsume NSCL. “The ‘honey’ is sticky and rapidly slows down the isotopes. Then you have to find a way to drag them through it and out.”

Earlier devices used an electrostatic gradient to produce a type of electric hill for the atoms to descend towards the extraction point. The technique works, but it requires a cumbersome number of electrodes with several connections and electrical circuits. So Bollen devised an electronically simpler scheme that moves the isotopes through the gas in much the same way that a wave in the ocean moves a surfer.

The technique uses a traveling electric field that creates a wave along the electrodes. Meanwhile, another electric field pushes the ions down towards the waves to ensure that they catch one, while yet another alternating electric field – this one at radio frequencies – keeps the isotopes from crashing into the floor of the device. When balanced, the system pushes the ions to a perfect level to be propelled by the travelling electric wave.

In short, unlike a surfer at Waikiki Beach, the waves are so large that it’s nearly impossible for an ion to miss its wave.

Brain stores objects by color, too

(Medical Xpress) -- How do we know what a lemon is, or a baseball? “Theories that explain how our brains store knowledge say that similar knowledge is stored in similar places. So things that are related – in how they look, how they smell, and so on – should overlap in the brain,” says Eiling Yee of the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain, & Language. In other words, the same part of your brain might store the information that both lemons and canaries are yellow.
This shows that color does play a part in how our brains organize knowledge about objects—cucumbers and emeralds do overlap, and in the right circumstances, thinking about one makes you think a little about the other. But, Yee says “it’s particularly interesting that this only happened when people had already been pushed to think about color, because it shows that the relationships between things change depending on the context. If you’ve just been thinking about color (even unconsciously), emeralds and cucumbers become more closely related than they would be if you hadn’t been thinking about color. This shows just how malleable the brain’s representations are.”

Study: Female students wary of the engineering workplace

However, a recent paper co-authored by MIT social scientist Susan Silbey, based on a four-year study of female engineering students, offers a different story. Contrary to the stereotype, the study finds, women are no more hesitant than men when it comes to mixing family and work. Moreover, their self-assessments of their math skills do not predict whether they will stick with engineering. Instead, the study finds, women feel less comfortable in engineering than men, and lack the “professional role confidence” that male engineers seem to acquire easily.

“The further they get from the classroom, the more women don’t like the experience,” says Silbey, the Leon and Anne Goldberg Professor of Humanities and professor of sociology and anthropology at MIT. “They find there is too large a gap between the idea of being an engineer and the practice of it.” Women who have internships or jobs, she explains, find they “are too often relegated to ‘female’ roles of note-taker, organizer or manager,” and “don’t think they want to do this kind of work.”

Viscous cycle: Quartz key to tectonics

(PhysOrg.com) -- More than 40 years ago, pioneering tectonic geophysicist J. Tuzo Wilson published an article in the journal Nature describing how, over Earth’s long history, ocean basins opened and closed along North America’s eastern seaboard. His observations, dubbed “The Wilson Tectonic Cycle,” suggested this process had occurred many times; most recently causing giant Pangaea to split into today’s seven continents.
“It all begins with quartz,” says Lowry, who published results of the team’s recent study in the March 17, 2011 issue of Nature. In “The Role of Crustal Quartz in Controlling Cordilleran Deformation,” the scientists describe a new approach to measuring properties of the deep crust that reveal quartz’s key role in initiating the churning chain of events that cause the Earth’s surface to crack, wrinkle, fold and stretch into mountains, plains and valleys.

“Earthquakes, mountain-building and other expressions of continental tectonics depend fundamentally on how rocks flow in response to stress,” says Lowry, assistant professor in USU’s Department of Geology and 2010 recipient of a National Science Foundation CAREER Award. “We know that all tectonics are a response to the effects of gravity, but we know less about rock flow properties and how they change from one location to another.”

                      December 27, 2011

The recent discovery of a pendant at the Irikaitz archaeological site in Zestoa (in the Basque province of Gipuzkoa ) has given rise to intense debate: it may be as old as 25,000 years, which would make it the oldest found to date at open-air excavations throughout the whole of the Iberian Peninsula. This stone is nine centimetres long and has a hole for hanging it from the neck although it would seem that, apart from being adornment, it was used to sharpen tools. The discovery has had great repercussion, but it is not by any means the only one uncovered here by the team led by Álvaro Arrizabalaga: "Almost every year some archaeological artefact of great value is discovered; at times, even 8 or 10. It is a highly fruitful location".
---------------- remember Tesla's Ozone making circuit and the Earthquake Machine

New research, published this week in the journal Applied Physics Letters, suggests that ozone gas emitted from fracturing rocks could serve as an indicator of impending earthquakes. Ozone is a natural gas, a byproduct of electrical discharges into the air from several sources, such as from lightning, or, according to the new research, from rocks breaking under pressure.

Scientists in the lab of Raúl A. Baragiola, a professor of engineering physics in the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science set up experiments to measure ozone produced by crushing or drilling into different igneous and metamorphic rocks, including granite, basalt, gneiss, rhyolite and quartz. Different rocks produced different amounts of ozone, with rhyolite producing the strongest ozone emission.
To distinguish whether the ozone was coming from the rocks or from reactions in the atmosphere, the researchers conducted experiments in pure oxygen, nitrogen, helium and carbon dioxide. They found that ozone was produced by fracturing rocks only in conditions containing oxygen atoms, such as air, carbon dioxide and pure oxygen molecules, indicating that it came from reactions in the gas. This suggests that rock fractures may be detectable by measuring ozone.

UV light controls antibodies, improves biosensors
                      October 31, 2011

One UV photon is absorbed by the antibody and the disulfide bridge is opened, thereby forming thiol groups. Their interaction with the gold surface leads to an oriented Fab region so that the upside down position (circled in the right side of the picture) is hampered and the antigen binding is more effective. Credit: Biomedical Optics Express

From detecting pathogens in blood samples to the study of protein synthesis, Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) sensors have many uses in modern biology. In this technique, antibodies anchored to gold electrodes on a piece of quartz crystal act like the "hooks" on the sticky side of a Velcro strap, grabbing molecules of interest as they pass by. The more molecule-sensing antibodies on the surface of the sensor, the more sensitive the QCM device's detection capabilities.

Barsoom - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Barsoom is a fictional representation of the planet Mars created by American pulp fiction author Edgar Rice Burroughs. The first Barsoom tale was serialized as Under the Moons of Mars in 1912, and published as a novel as A Princess of Mars in 1917. Ten sequels followed over the next three decades, further extending his vision of Barsoom and adding other characters.

The world of Barsoom is a romantic vision of a dying Mars, based on now-outdated scientific ideas made popular by Astronomer Percival Lowell in the early 20th century. While depicting many outlandish inventions, and advanced technology, it is a savage world of honor, noble sacrifice, and constant struggle, where martial prowess is paramount, and where many races fight over dwindling resources. It is filled with lost cities, heroic adventures and forgotten ancient secrets.

The series has inspired a number of well known science fiction writers in the 20th century, and also key scientists involved in both space exploration and the search for extraterrestrial life. It has informed and been adapted by many writers, in novels, short stories, comics, television and film.
Burroughs began writing the Barsoom books in the second half of 1911, and produced one volume a year between 1911 and 1914

Alfred Russel Wallace - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Alfred Russel Wallace, OM, FRS (8 January 1823 – 7 November 1913) was a British naturalist, explorer, geographer, anthropologist and biologist. He is best known for independently proposing a theory of evolution due to natural selection that prompted Charles Darwin to publish his own theory.
                          Spiritualism

In a letter to his brother-in-law in 1861, Wallace wrote:

... I remain an utter disbeliever in almost all that you consider the most sacred truths. I will pass over as utterly contemptible the oft-repeated accusation that sceptics shut out evidence because they will not be governed by the morality of Christianity ... I am thankful I can see much to admire in all religions. To the mass of mankind religion of some kind is a necessity. But whether there be a God and whatever be His nature; whether we have an immortal soul or not, or whatever may be our state after death, I can have no fear of having to suffer for the study of nature and the search for truth, or believe that those will be better off in a future state who have lived in the belief of doctrines inculcated from childhood, and which are to them rather a matter of blind faith than intelligent conviction.[102]

Wallace was an enthusiast of phrenology.[103] Early in his career, he experimented with hypnosis, then known as mesmerism. He used some of his students in Leicester as subjects, with considerable success.[104] When he began his experiments with mesmerism, the topic was very controversial and early experimenters, such as John Elliotson, had been harshly criticised by the medical and scientific establishment.[105] Wallace drew a connection between his experiences with mesmerism and his later investigations into spiritualism. In 1893, he wrote:

I thus learnt my first great lesson in the inquiry into these obscure fields of knowledge, never to accept the disbelief of great men or their accusations of imposture or of imbecility, as of any weight when opposed to the repeated observation of facts by other men, admittedly sane and honest. The whole history of science shows us that whenever the educated and scientific men of any age have denied the facts of other investigators on a priori grounds of absurdity or impossibility, the deniers have always been wrong.[106]

Wallace began investigating spiritualism in the summer of 1865, possibly at the urging of his older sister Fanny Sims, who had been involved with it for some time.[107] After reviewing the literature on the topic and attempting to test the phenomena he witnessed at séances, he came to accept that the belief was connected to a natural reality. For the rest of his life, he remained convinced that at least some séance phenomena were genuine, no matter how many accusations of fraud sceptics made or how much evidence of trickery was produced. Historians and biographers have disagreed about which factors most influenced his adoption of spiritualism. It has been suggested by one biographer that the emotional shock he had received a few months earlier, when his first fiancée broke their engagement, contributed to his receptiveness to spiritualism.[108] Other scholars have preferred to emphasise instead Wallace's desire to find rational and scientific explanations for all phenomena, both material and non-material, of the natural world and of human society.[1
-------------------which takes us to : Spiritual evolution - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spiritual evolution is the philosophical, theological, esoteric or spiritual idea that nature and human beings and/or human culture evolve, extending from the established cosmological pattern or ascent, or in accordance with certain pre-established potentials. It is synonymous with "higher evolution", a term used to differentiate psychological, mental, or spiritual evolution from the "lower" or biological evolution of physical form.

The concept of spiritual evolution is also complemented by the idea of a creative impulse in human beings, known as epigenesis.

Within this broad definition, theories of spiritual evolution are very diverse. They may be cosmological (describing existence at large), personal (describing the development of the individual), or both. They can be holistic (holding that higher realities emerge from and are not reducible to the lower), idealist (holding that reality is primarily mental or spiritual) or nondual (holding that there is no ultimate distinction between mental and physical reality). All of them can be considered to be teleological to a greater or lesser degree.

Philosophers, scientists, and educators that have proposed theories of spiritual evolution include Schelling, Hegel, Max Théon, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, Henri Bergson, Rudolf Steiner, Sri Aurobindo, Jean Gebser, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Owen Barfield, Arthur M. Young, Edward Haskell, E. F. Schumacher, Erich Jantsch, Clare W. Graves, Alfred North Whitehead, Terence McKenna, P.R. • We have researched Quartz, now let us find out a little about Boron

from: Adept Alchemy (Robert A. Nelson): Transmutations of Carbon

                            George Ohsawa & Michio Kushi

Inspired by the pioneering work of Dr. Kervran, Dr. George Ohsawa sought to transmute sodium into potassium in vitro. The method revealed itself to him in a symbolic dream (same as Dr Vogel ). Thus inspired, Dr. Ohsawa and Michio Kushi, et al., constructed an experimental electric discharge tube with copper (Yin) and iron (Yang) electrodes and a valve through which to draw a vacuum or admit oxygen (Fig. 3.1). The first transmutation with this equipment was achieved on June 21, 1964. After applying 60 watts of electricity for 30 minutes to heat sodium to a plasma, a molar equivalent of oxygen was introduced. Viewed with a spectroscope, the orange band of sodium gave way to the blue of potassium, according to the formula:

                            Na23 + O16 = K39

Analysis of the reaction product confirmed the result and revealed an unexpected extra: a trace of gold was produced by the combination of Na, O, and K with the Cu and Fe electrodes. Several different metals were tested as electrode materials. Neon and argon atmospheres were found to enhance the yield of potassium and other elements. External heating of the reaction tube also served to ionize the sodium.
"In the production of steel in electric furnaces, the incomprehensible appearance of boron [has been observed]. We see now that we cannot exclude, under the effect of a powerful electric field and of the high temperature of these furnaces, the 'reduction' of carbon from the loss of hydrogen and in keeping with: C - H = B...

"The experience is simple to realize, as it suffices to take a plate of steel --- or of iron -- an anode of magnesium, place them in a jar containing distilled water rendered conductive by a salt of magnesium --- in order not to introduce any metallic ion other than magnesium, and these two electrodes are reunited by a metal wire, to the exterior of the jar; thus they realize (in part) a battery with magnesium at the negative, iron as positive; through the production of hydrogen at the electrode, magnesium is at a potential of 1.9 volts more negative than iron. Leave it for two or three months; from time to time add a little distilled water in order to compensate for evaporation. On analysis, calcium is obtained... in an operation in which calcium was not introduced!"

The calcium (as oxide) accumulates in scales on the cathode.
"Method 2: Transmutation in Water --- Using two carbon rods (0.25" diam.), create an electric arc between them, striking them on one another in water. This operation is performed for 1 to 5 seconds. Then, brown-black metallic powder (which contains iron) falls down to the bottom of the water.

"Method 3: Transmutation in Air --- Carbon powder is placed on a copper plate, approximately 12" long, 6" wide, and 0.5" thick. This plate works as an electrical ground. A carbon rod (0.25" diam.) used as the other electrical pole, is struck repeatedly to the carbon powder on the plate, producing an electric arc. The carbon powder changes into iron.
"Nothing is solely Yin or Yang: everything involves polarity. There is nothing neuter. Either Yin or Yang is in excess in every occurrence. Large Yin attracts small Yin; larger Yang attracts small Yang. At extremes, Yin produces Yang, and Yang produces Yin. All physical forms and objects are Yang at the center and Yin at the surface."

"Hydrogen, the center of the atomic spiral, is Yang. It gathers particles to itself, forming the first octave of creation. The conditions become apparent upon studying the melting and boiling points of the first eight elements.

"Within the first octave, the greatest attraction is between carbon and oxygen, which represent Yin and Yang respectively. It is the fugate interaction of these two that form the other elements. Carbon is often replaced by boron. In terms of Yin and Yang, these are like brothers in that they react in similar ways in forming new elements."

Since George Ohsawa and Michio Kushi conducted their initial experiments in the 1970s, several other researchers have reported the same results and more, thanks to modern analytical equipment, computers, and communication. The worlds of low-energy transmutations have become much more accessible to us. New discoveries are being reported at an increasing rate in the scientific literature, particularly cold fusion and biological transmutations. Perhaps within a few decades we shall see the mass production of elements on demand. (1, 7, 10-18, 22, 23)

Boron is an intriguing member of the periodic table because it readily forms stable compounds using only six electrons—two fewer than most other main-group elements. This means that chemists can easily add boron to unsaturated hydrocarbons, and then use electron-rich atoms, such as oxygen, to change organoborons into versatile units such as alcohols and esters. Recently, researchers found that combining transition metals with boron ligands produces catalysts powerful enough to transform even fully saturated hydrocarbons into new organic functionalities with high selectivity.

Nanoparticles used to increase thermal properties of transformer oil

The researchers discovered that a very tiny amount of hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) particles, two-dimensional cousins to carbon-based graphene, suspended in standard transformer oils are highly efficient at removing heat from a system

Bulky molecules trap boron compounds into a never-before-seen structural arrangement

X-ray measurements (bottom) reveal that a butterfly-shaped boron compound (top left) has an intense electron distribution in its B2H2 core (red areas) that is stabilized by exterior bulky ligands (white lines). The human eye (top right) shows the direction from which you look at the electron density map. Reproduced from Ref. 1 © 2010 Yoshiaki Shoji et al.

When it comes to chemical bonding, boron has a reputation for being unconventional. While covalent bonds are usually formed by sharing two electrons between two atoms, some compounds—including diboranes (B2H6) —contain B–H–B bonds in which an electron pair is distributed over three sites. The electron-deficient nature of these ‘3-center, 2-electron’ bonds can generate a variety of distinct chemical structures, some of which—such as triple-bonded diborane derivatives—have only been seen theoretically.

                              Swiss researchers create unscratchable gold

By combining a gold alloy with boron carbide, an extremely hard ceramic that’s used in bulletproof vests, a team of EPFL researchers has succeeded in making the world’s toughest 18-karat gold (75% gold). With a Vickers hardness number of 1000, it’s harder than most tempered steels (600 Vickers) and thus almost impossible to scratch, except with a diamond. This discovery is the result of a three-year collaboration between the Mechanical Metallurgy Laboratory in EPFL’s Institute of Materials, under the leadership of Professor Andreas Mortensen, and the Swiss watchmaking company Hublot.

The right recipe: Engineering research improves laser detectors, batteries

These carbon nanotubes -- made of graphene, an atom-thick sheet of carbon -- have the perfect ingredients for improving laser detectors and rechargeable batteries, according to research by Gurpreet Singh, assistant professor of mechanical and nuclear engineering. Singh is working on several projects with carbon nanotubes and polymer-derived ceramic material.

One project involves new ways to cook or create a ceramic carbon nanotube material. The conventional way to make this type of material is to take a liquid polymer, pour it into a mold and heat it in an oven until the polymer forms a ceramic.

Singh's team tried a new approach. They are among the first to create their own modified liquid polymer with four ingredients: silicon, boron, carbon and nitrogen. But rather than heating this liquid polymer in an oven, they heated it in a conventional microwave -- the kind used in kitchens. They found that the microwave heats the nanotubes just as well as an oven.

Here is a very nice website: good for your magnetized water , for the fertilizer apparatus (see above picture )and the crystal Battery

                                OSnano

                                Open Source Nanotechnology

Open Source Nano is an invitation to participate in the innovations of nanotechnology right from the start. It is an experiment in making high-tech laboratory research something that can be improved and innovated outside the laboratory, by making it “vernacular”–putting it in the language that people speak, and the tools and materials they have at hand.

At this stage, it consists of only one project: instructions for creating magnetite nanocrystals; but we hope this project will inspire others in the future. What can you do with magnetite nanocrystals?

Why? Magnetite Nanocrystals are good for removing arsenic from water. Based on recent advances in nanotechnology, it’s now possible to make regular magnetite nanocrystals as small as 20-100nm, and to remove them from solution using a handheld magnet. Arsenic poisoning is a huge problem in Southeast Asia, especially in Bangladesh, and in various other parts of the world. Our project opens up the process for making magnetite and encourages you to experiment with it, contribute to it, and improve it.

                                Step 1
                                : Prepare and Collect Ingredients

                                (a) Ingredients for a typical nanocrystal synthesis include: Oil, vinegar, pan, crystal drain openerTM and rust.
Step 2: Make your own soap.

(b-c) Synthesis begins with soapmaking. For this the oil is mixed with crystal drain openerTM and water.
                                (d) After curing for a day the soap solidifies.
Step 3: Produce a Fatty Acid Mixture

                                (e) For efficient dissolution in subsequent steps, the soap is ground to a fine powder,
                                (f) then mixed with vinegar
(g-h) while heating on a stove.
(i-j) Once all the soap is dissolved the solution forms two layers: a yellow top layer and a cloudy white/yellow bottom layer.
                                (k) The top layer is the fatty acid mixture (FAM). This needs to be heated at 110 oC to remove excess water and vinegar by-products.
                                (l) Clear yellow FAM is collected.
Step 4: Collect and Grind some Rust

(m-n) Rust was scraped off of rusted metals and was ground to a fine powder.
Step 5:Cook/grow your own magnetite crystals

                                (o) FAM and rust were mixed.
(p-q) Mixture was heated for 2 hours at below and near boiling temperatures. The temperature was measured using a standard mercury thermometer.
(r-s) Magnetite (black) began to form.
Step 6: Verify your Magnetite Crystals

                                (t) TEM micrograph was obtained after magnetic separation in chloroform. Scale bar is 50 nm.

step 6 (i don't think we care that much about it )
