did you see in the video they use in the searl experiment DC current on one coil and AC current on the other...You could test it on the ice with you Smith Coil Set up (if it is possible )

come to think of it in the video of DNA sequencing the Band is the exact equivalent of the pulse of the two currents mixed. That is a fine question what would happen to polarity if the two were mixed. Would it cancel out or cause an entire shift of polarity on a sub atomic level or would they support one another causing a significant increase in the spin ratio causing a double overlap of the golden mean ratio spiral or helix if you will. My money is on the last of these choices.

I bet it has everything to do with sound resonating off the 'bell' shaped domes then creating multiple overlaps of vibration causing the waters waves to crash into each other which causes the vibration of the molecules and BAM instant sonic friction causing the water to boil. cascade effect anyone.

if you look at the animation i posted when AC runs Parallel to DC current. You have a cycle of dc current on both coils when AC runs in the same direction and opposite when AC runs in the opposite direction + maybe some counter EMF happening too
