Anyone seen this before? I guess you can design and test virtual circuits on it. I was wondering how accurate you guys find it to be? Thanks in advance.
Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone else's ~BW~ It's kind of fun to do the impossible ~WD~ From now on, I'll connect the dots my own way ~BW~ If I shall be like him, who shall be like me? ~LR~ Had I not created my whole world, I would certainly have died in other people’s ~AN~
Yes. It is from Paul Falstad and was mentioned few times allready at the Forum.
I made a 555 Timer thread with it, and the Applet was pretty close to what it did build.
At this thread i even wrote some more about the Keys what i found out, what you can use, to build Circuits by your own. http://www.energeticforum.com/renewa...circuit-s.html
Theorizer are like High Voltage. A lot hot Air with no Power behind but they are the dead of applied Work and Ideas.
Yes, I have been using it for years. It gives a reasonable approximation of components but does not include internal capacitance or resistance of components. By adding extra capacitors and resistors I have had good results that are quite close to real components.
When using inductors in the way we do, it can cause errors without the extra capacitance. For example on the Bedini SSG circuit I have to put a very small capacitor across the transistor emitter and collector to make it run. Also you can get a convergence failure when small amounts of capacitance are not used with complex inductor circuits, plus the voltages will be excessively high.
