Do you have an Ikea near you ? I will gladly pick one up and ship it to you.

I have one about 1/2 hrs drive from here,I also buy things from them for my Handicapped children Business!

I don't have all the particulars yet on how to completely convert the IKEA vacuum thermos. As soon as I get that information I'll post it. I just wanted to give some preliminary information to show everyone that things are still cooking with regard to this replication and that experimenters are looking into alternate methods of building the device.

IKEA does sound like a great store. I was checking them out online but they do not sell the particular vacuum flask we need online.

Is this what your experiment shows? Also could this heater work in demineralized/deionized/distilled water? That would reduce or eliminate current draw, if this device doesn't need/rely on current flow.

Questions on IKEA vacuum flask device

Tests show a cop of 4-5 at the present time but there were also strong indications that the cop could go much higher. Tests have not been conducted with ionized water, but it should work with ionized water. More information will follow soon.

When possible I recommend using 220 - 230 V. When using 110 I´m not impressed in any way .

Phase - phase should be ok for USA, I guess that gives 220 or
