Step up Power

Hello i am looking for a way to step up my Solar cell

example:
the output of the cell is 12vdc with 17watt

is no any way to step up that power and have 12vdc but 20amp

any idea.

so this way no need to use 20 panel to get more power

Unfortunately No, there is no way I know of doing that, a solar panel can only
output a fraction or a percentage of the input it receives from the sun.

Mostly they are about 17-19 % efficient I think. The watt rating tells you the
rated maximum output in watts depending on the strength or intensity of the
sun (thereby the input energy) the panel might be able to exceed that by a
little bit. But the efficiency will remain fairly constant.

Have you thought about making it work longer?

The problem is when the light is low you cant get 12v out of it but if you put a Bedini solid state oscillator on it you can turn just a few volts into well over 12v and it will keep your batteries in good condition too.

Another way is to put a big frenzle lens over it to concentrate the available light

Hi jetpr if you're going to use this panel for battery charging then you should build an SSG or other sort of pulser to batteries. These type consume much less and charges batteries.
