  • communications shutdown

On November 9, 2011, at 1400 hours, the feds will will shutdown all radio and TV broadcasts. These are being claimed as a test of the emergency broadcast system. Obama ordered the tests from the FCC and all will have to abide by this test. There are many writeups on the internet from freedomfighterradio.net and on you tube. Good luck. stealth

What a chance ! Test your OU device in that strict moment to be sure if it not catch radio waves. It's a pity I don't have any for testing and here in Europe nobody is planing such "incident"

Thought it was to try out a new alert system, with, I presume, some kind of radio announcer deep voiced guy and probably the President ?

Regarding the 2 days after this, they are just about the best Binary dates ever known

      Ah, here we are:

With "Smart" power meters and various whiteband products
still pumping out tons of RFI/EMI,
including cell phones tower-hunting that no one will be turning off,
it still won't a very clean envrioment...

        EDIT:
After reading the above link's info,
I see that nothing is being shutdown as a test.

They are just commandeering all public communications
for about thirty seconds or so do do a top-to-bottom test.

So the idea of testing any of our "exotic builds"
in a reduced-RF enviroment is a mute point...
