Dr Stiffler SEC Replications?

  • Hey Warren,

    Very intriguing results. I’m not clear on how you have everything hooked up and what coils are doing the oscillating. Will increasing the load knock it out of oscillation? I’m looking forward to your next video.

    • PSEC shows radiant energy

      Heres another video showing how my passive sec circuit can generate its own voltage through excitation from another SEC. The powered SEC that is driving my PSEC puts out 70-120 volts from the L3. Ive gotten my PSEC to generate a voltage of 376 volts before. Ive attached the schematic of the actual circuit and the original PSEC I based my circuit on. It is the same fundamentally but I have changed it around a little bit. The circuit with the neon is the circuit I used in the video. The circuit labeled PSEC is the circuit I believe Dr. Stiffler showed in one of his videos.

      • Hi Warrensk,
        Very interesting your latest result with the PSEC replication. Do you have an oscilloscope to see which is the resonant frequency of your setup?
        A French physicist named Richard Vialle came up with a theory that the ether resonant frequency happened to be 2.1 MHz, and L1, L2 and L3 should all be tuned to the 1/4 Lamda of that frequency. He even came up with several electronic circuits to demonstrate his theories. Google Richard Vialle and you will find out more info.
        I am experimenting with the Lasersaber Joule Ringer Crossover circuit and cannot be occupied in this project at this moment. Sorry for disturbing you, but keep on your good job!

        • hey aaron5120, I have read a little about Richard Vialles self generating u. I haven't tried building one and it seems to be a little like SEC but not quite. I had a hunch they might be connected because my spectrum analyzer has signals coming in around 2.1 Mhz that look like some kind of harmonic. makes a lot of sense. I will keep that in mind when experimenting...

          • Just catching up with what you've been doing Warren...and have subscribed to your YouTube channel

            In your multi-under the table-coils video, I can only think that the driver SEC doesn't actually power down, but the PSEC circuit knocks down the returning voltage to the Base of the transistor. Which type of tranny is it ?
            If the Base drive is low enough it should prevent the white LED from coming on, but there's still enough through the diode drop to keep the circuit going. The solar input did drop after all, to 39mA.

            The land of purple plasma is a rare place to get to, enjoyed that vid. Is it not down to the cap voltage ? (I need to go back again and look at your circuit more). Just thinking that given a little gap in time, the cap goes way over 120V and so flashes the neon purple. The circuit settles, with the neon now as a load and so lights to the standard orange. That doesn't explain the often seen 2 or 3 flashes of purple though.

            I like that PSEC circuit, had never seen one before today.

              Resonance can be misunderstood in this case.

              yes we got resonance with a signal generator and an AV plug.
              The doctor uses an aluminum two plate capacitor after the SG. ( Signal Gen in series resonance mode )

              After that resonance the methods change. (self resonance of the coil)
              Then we need to turn the Signal Generator down because we are tuning
              for AV current peak self resonance of a series and not a voltage peak. (having different phase)
              Some of you have low power output SG that cannot light an led. (need an adjustable output stage)
              Next using a spec analyzer he found the current peak when adding the third coil.

              I went on with this experiment following instructions exactly and found psec worked
              with almost no signal at all proving to myself at least that this type of
              current resonance in wireless multi-coil systems found without forced oscillation has merit.
              The oscilloscope conventional approach would be misleading. The setup needs near field to SA.
              The current derived by this type of harmonic series is done first.
              The frequency is dependent on that series. The resonance can vary
              but the optimum tuning seen on the spectrum analyzer has a signature.

              One of the artifacts that was observed is fade but no conclusion has been given.
              There is a slow fade over time 48 leds psec requires adjustment at dusk.
              On the oscilloscope the dis-synchronus wave form as the system encounters drift.

              An approach using standard radio heterodyne mixing in an open system is selectivity (not good).
              Selectivity limits the wide band range needed for combined flow of these series. (So range is preferred over selectivity)
              The coil interaction is left in a simple form and near field is detected by antenna connected by bnc to the SA.
              Going further with SEC was shown on video with different arrangements

              Resonance with these coils does not use common Radio Coil know-how.
              The written material published provides it's own referenced terminology.
              A summary on how to build and tune the SEC and other information
              was provided by Ron Stiffler.

              • Dr Stiffler modifes the 18X SEC circuit uses a capacitive coupled alum backplane (cree) off the one wire L3 coil the led array connects to a
                reverse AV plug into negative power supply terminal.
                Light unit draws 35 mA, 18V is 630 mW

                      Touching the aluminum could mean that this application not intend counterpoise or ground.
                      The Cx Cy are likely points for adjusting spec in relationship to the right Cree and L3.
                      Choice of polarity arrangement noted. The light should be useful for some time.

                      I recall the information that Dr. Ron Stiffler made public; what and how he wanted it shared he put on panacea. The chart on the capacitor values
                      was available with the board was not public but the values can be derived. The board I have is stored safely. I replicated from the original and ran tests
                      The spectrum replicated, output same, transients same, drift removed with crystal, adjustable on selection, aluminum coupling observed.
                      Pretest familiarity with SEC requires careful review of Stiffler routines and survey of SEC background information.
                      The spec analyzer shows a series of unique series when the board was tuned in the specified manner.
                      The videos made by Ron Stiffler explains the various configurations and procedures and mods to date.
                      The pSEC was useful for finite building skills like fixture and balancing at flea power.
                      SEC 18.2x works on battery in isolation. The spec analyzer shows lab noise was low.
                      Comments about Ron being a magician was humor among friends, his work is sincere and earnest.

                      • In this video Dr.Stiffler presents a simplified version. Video called

                        The Real Simple Way- to fire up a CREE board with a 'Stiffler Loop'

                        He addresses (to all) everyone! a minimal bench model. Minimal that is having almost insignificant insertion losses
                        having only 2 coils, 4 diodes makes this project better suited reducing parts count here means easy to factor into an equation.

                        ( I find this effort is one of the most exciting because in conclusion is the how and why. Dr Stiffler
                        explains what he calls the "Stiffler diode loop". It should be reproducible for an accurate coil maker.)

                        The oscilloscope probe set on the signal generator's 5' coax BNC junction.
                        The scope shows a sine output of 24.4 Vpp, 8.49 Vrms, Frequency 13.53 Mhz

                        I have found Stiffler projects beneficial in learning. This is why I encourage this build.
                        I have by necessity been quick in documenting Dr. Stiffler projects. I am used to revisions anyway.
                        In this way someone bright might find a trail of logic left on energetic forum for making it easy.

                        The first precision coil is connected to the signal generator which is set to resonance.
                        The impedance on the Cree circuit is measured so that the second coil is offset; to about 10 KHz
                        The light emitting diodes normally uses only half the sine wave, concept addresses the extract of
                        unidirectional flow at the point of charge separation the diode. The external coupling for PN junction.
                        The "Stiffler Diode Loop" demonstrates that when built precisely, the diodes will capacitively couple to the
                        aluminum back plane and the series leds will have more current for the Cree board using this loop.

                        The signal generator appears to be Wavetek 191 (power level difficult guess so I over estimate.)
                        The HP used before was under a watt so Possibly the output is less than 2 watts guestimate. Starting with
                        2 watts we can attenuate the power level. ( nice feature )We should then obtain same results shown.
                        The setup might use RF coax and Faraday shielding that reduces excess RF.
                        Because of the simplicity of the circuit the light output makes a good power estimate.
                        This also makes good experiment platform staying below RF compliance.

                            An alternative to spec analyzer is get a generic sdr rtl and download some software, don't need fancy radio quality to look at spectra so up converters can be very simple. There is a variety of software now that can do incredible things on filters and harmonics. You might want to stay in low signal strength and discover how the frequency domains hidden details can improve projects in open systems. What start and stop frequency will you sweep ?

                              hello first I want to clarify that I'm French and I use a translator to discuss with you on this forum, I'm sorry if my sentences may seem weird comes from the software.
                              I wanted to thank all the members of the forum who replicated the SEC exciting dr stiffler, because without you I never would have understood how this editing works.
