Mayby a Candidate for the 5Kw E-cat heater?

We were going to investigate this if we ever got the Steorn heater going, (doesn't look good) but here is some thing we may consider for the 5Kw E-cat

Look at this ...Phillips did a home power genset with a sterling Drive.

Jib did you know that? unbelievable..
Smaller piston engines can be done too.
Maybe some one has better ideas?

I found out about this motor from the following Youtube video. There's a comment stating that the engine is about $4000.

They are but the temperature of the water generated by the E-Cat is too low. A stirling engine would probably be the best way to test the E-Cat.

Yes generally steam engines are more efficient, but imagine how much waste heat there is in the world: All those smoke stacks, heater flues, etc. Sterlings can usually work with air, which can utilize the above.

The Cyclone folks claim to have a waste heat engine based on their gas-fired design which looks pretty interesting... but it appears to be way out of reach for open source folks. We do need a good Sterling design we can build ourselves (... and they have interesting possibilities for use with solar Fresnel lenses).

Hi Jib /ALL , now it looks like there is an E-cat for the Home announced
this must be an "official " site for the license holders maybe?

so i wonder what will be selected the heat exchanger, i Am working with Sol from Byron new energy which is a charitable trust like Panacea to get the E-cat here to Aust. Difference is we will promote it WITH, alt medicine , end Fed etc and others will try and give you some direct news as i get it Jib, love what you write always.

The e-Cat is something that should of happened 23 years ago, it would of if science has an independent judicial inquiry into it’s failures with Cold Fusion and persecution of Pons and Fleischmann.

Main-line science has to loose its respect and credibility due to this and be brought clearly into the open, the people responsible named and justice seen to be served.
