I am trying to understand why Magnetic fields manifest themselves in a physical manner over all other elements in, Iron, nickel, and cobalt at room temperature.
Gadolinium and Dysprosium are ferromagnetic below room temperature Carbon nanofoam, a pure allotrope of carbon can become magnetic at temperatures below -183 degrees C.
Add to that these Rare earth elements specifically the neodymium-iron-boron magnets and the samarium-cobalt magnets.
Something sets these elements and their atomic order apart from the rest in allowing the primary force to express itself
