    Jake,

I know what you mean... it is a weird sort of pull to the meat and cooked food.

The only explaination for it that fits with energy flow perspective is, that during the growth and development period of most people, the primary food that was consumed was cooked/processed foods.

This means that the mass that was added to the body has certain requirements to be maintained. Which of course is consuming that which created it. From this point we see why a gradual change of diet is often recommended. They ("experts") also recommend gradual change for addictions of other things as well.

As everything is interacting with everything, it is best to look at the energy flow description as a skeleton of basic information that can be built upon using personal experience. There are many connections that were not mentioned such as heat production during exercise, where it comes from and water being the major path of it exiting the body. But one major connection is the role of sleep it's correct form that matches other natural cycles and related eating timing and exercising which match natural cycles also. This is what I am currently trying to put together graphically.

And that is a good and important point you made about energy depletion via cooking/processing food with minimal reduction in caloric content! Good eye!

Here's to a greater understanding of what it means to be a Human that is Being.

      Sleep-Activity-Food

The idea for this image started with the three following sources:

      1)
The Doctrine of Awakening : Julius Evola
Julius Evola "The Doctrine of the Awakening"

"Thus, strictly speaking, the period of true sleep or of the state that in the common man would correspond to sleep (cf, p. 181) is restricted to four hours only, from ten in the evening until two in the morning."

      2)
      MrAstrotheology - YouTube
Santos Bonacci - one of the astrology based videos

He quotes what I believe is a bible passage that warns of drinking too deeply. This he references to the hour preceeding noon. Very brief moment in the video but worth watching as all knowledge has value.

      3)
My own experience of recognizing that the best physical and mental part of my days are during the first 4 hours after waking. As well as seeing that taking a nap performs the same thing to a lesser degree.

Tesla was quoted in reference to attaching our machinery to the wheelwork of nature. It appears that the Buddhists have been improving the attachment of the human body to the wheelwork of nature for a very long time.

In regards to the image. Treat it as a snapshot in time as the noted lengths of time are contracting and expanding in relation to the moon orbit and the earths orbit. I tried to center the processes that are in my mind to give a general idea. It also omits exercise, but imagining the first hour after waking as yoga time resolves that.

Also, one should not expect to just adapt to this. It requires a matching diet and matching conscious mind. Both which are acquired with effort and time. Reference Buddhism for validation. The sleeping time contracts as the diet and mind matching increases.

The Telsa/Buddhist reference says it all. You are basically putting major body influences in sympathetic vibration with a larger more energetic pattern. Energy is transfered from a higher potential to the lower potential via resonance. Which is generated by sympathetic vibration.

The working methods of poets, painters, philosophers and saints.

Using the eyes of Awareness a pattern is discerned. With heroic Will, the mind brings it and another from the past together to Compare. The hammer is then allowed to fall on the Deductive chisel, exposing the light of what is inherently true. The fruit of these efforts provide the required illumination which makes clear the next stretch of the path.

With direction clear and bolstered Will, each step describing the rise and fall of Cause and Effect. Those who discover the light marking the beginning of this path will find a relating company in the footprints left behind. Marking as if words describing the story of many passings. Each a re-telling of increasing strength, purity and direction of Intent.

From the resting heart-rate of 60 bpm, each increment of 5 bpm also shows a 'Whole Number' Schumann Resonance Harmonic that matches. Same for breathing rate noted as rpm (breaths per minute) and EEG Bands.

By starting with 1 bpm = 7.8-hz, the the next 7.8 harmonic = 2 bpm. The matches it turned up are pretty neat. Though its relevance is unknown.

What is curious is that the Sumerians and those whom took them over, the Babylonians, both used the base-60 number system. Maybe based on 60 bpm heart rate?

          Note:
          1)
          Breathing rate of 5-rpm/Schumann 39-hz
          EEG Band Theta 5-hz/Schumann 39-hz

          2)
          Heart Rate 60-bpm/Schumann 468-hz
          EEG Band Gamma 60-hz/Schumann 468-hz

Each of the above matches (connects the three together) occur when the body is at rest.

Check out what is associated the Gamma Band 30-100 (where noted 60hz match occurred).
