the shorted coil pulls energy into the system any system, its very interesting the way he ran it through a transformer instead of a dead short or using a cap

Motor speed up under load is still fascinating to me. I wonder if instead short coils to get speed up, we can put a permanent magnet in place of the shorted coil.
