  • Hey Dana

    I believe I have mine working, but not with the ads1115. Tonight I was gonna try everything, I'll post what I have, tonight. I tried with 12 v constant DC, it seemed correct, I was gonna try pulsing next, been distracted with Figuera.

      Hello Hitby

      The code looks good but I have one suggestion. Everywhere I look I see that the library is called open as #include <Adafruit_ADS1015.h>, where ADS1015 is the name of the library. Once opened, An instance of Adafruit_ADS1015 ads1115; is opened where the 1115 type is properly named. This may or may not be important but probably should be changed in the code just in case. There may be parameter differences in the library.

      (Corrected Code)
      #include <Wire.h>
      #include "math.h" // include the Math Library
      #include <Adafruit_ADS1015.h>
      Adafruit_ADS1015 ads1115;
      (End Corrected Code)
      Now you will also change all further calls of 1015 to 1115.

      @ Machine
      I will be happy to see your setup and code for the parts you have running. Tonight rite? 8:37PM rite? Well that would be Michigan time so for you 9:37PM, rite?

      • Hey Dana

        I just got home, that program was not right, I was changing things, now I can't find the good one. The only thing that measured right with that program was the current sensor, but I don't think it even measured floating decimal. Here is a link where I got the current sensor program. I'm sure it will help you more, I'm going to delete that other post

        • Hello guys,

          I'm new to the forums and have been following this thread as best I could, it is long. I tried using search but it (or I) isn't very good.

          What exactly is the point of this motor? What does it do over a conventional motor? Does it generate more torque for the same input voltage, if so does it draw more current?

          Cheers.

            • Well I have been reading it for a while and I'm still not entirely sure what is going on, I've seen some reports and videos and some data, however the data is missing bits of info.

              What I'd really like to see, and it doesn't take fancy measuring devices is a simple set up with the smaller motors.

              Get the modified motor and the unmodified motor, put a propeller on them, set them up in a vice and fire them up.
              If the modified motor uses the same power as the unmodified and releases more power, slap a resistor, light bulb, or whatever on it and use it. Keep running until the batteries (identical new batteries, 1 each) drain. Will the Asymmetric then outperform, or equal the unmodified motor, even with another load on it? (or not? I'm not sure what you are doing exactly, it is a very messy thread).

              If it doesn't, what are you pursuing? What is making this motor special? I read cold electricity/radiant power, however I'm having a hard time finding and solid, tangible evidence of it with complete measurements and raw data. I may have missed the page or 2 where it has all that, it is a very long thread (both of them).

              I'm also having a hard time finding a Simple, Step-by-step guide to replicate the work, I'd love to give it a crack, however it seems that there are circuit diagrams with ambiguous settings or missing parts that are alluded to in other posts.
              If someone here could condense it all down for a simple step-by-step guide of a Small engine that highlights the effects you are trying to show, that would go along way for people like me who are curious and a bit time-poor and trying to follow whats going on.

              Cheers

                Hello and Welcome Toll,

                It is obvious You have missed some good portion of reading...maybe "jumping" ahead on pages since it is(are) a long thread(s)...Or simply going through the explanations without establishing your own diagrams, set up.

                As I am sure You would understand, I (nor all other Members active on replications) have the time to start from scratch every time someone like you arrives right at the end post...so we have to "rewind" back to about a year ago...

                First GO TO : UFOPOLITICS
                There, as a Main Page is a complete extract that explains the differences between the Two Systems, Symmetrical and Asymmetrical, along with the You Tube Videos explaining Graphically the whole thing.

                The proposed tests you have written, have been already made by Lidmotor here

                However, in order to be able to make "fair" testings...As am sure you know, Amperage draw is completely dependent upon resistance of Coils...So, in order to compare properly original versus modified, both Machines MUST have same resistance/Impedance Values at their Coils....BUT THEN AGAIN...You must understand "How Asymmetric AND Symmetric Systems work AND Differences" in order to be able to adapt SAME Resistance values to your modified Motor.

                It seems You are kind of knowledgeable in Hobbies and small applications like "Quad Copters", and that is great.

                Have you ever seen a Motor you could get off the Hobby Store shelf...that will Output some voltage while it runs?...Am sure NOT.

                Be welcome to watch Replications at my site, Videos and Tutorials on windings, etc...as all other related Material posted there.

                And yes, this Machines WILL keep Speed and Torque at a "PROPORTIONAL/LINEAR RATE"...Something that definitively Symmetry can NOT offer...where You either have one of both Parameters while sacrificing the other.

                Kind Regards

                  • It's a piece of the puzzle

                    Toll, it's a piece of the puzzle that everyone is trying to solve.

                    A Ufo Asymmetric Motor combined with the "Monster Driver" is a technique to have a robust motor, even though the amps have been drastically reduced.

                    People are exploring various ways to combine the UFO system with other concepts; Figuera Generator, materials, various technics to harvest radiant energy, 3 Battery Generating System(3BGS) etc, etc, etc. You can try any combo you wish.

                    I believe that none of it is perfect......without the other(s)

                    There is no need to be so critical/negative. This is completely open sourced. If you have something to add to enhance the system, here is a great group of nice people trying their best to help solve the puzzle and willing to share ideas. Most are on a limited budget but still go forward. Please, take your time, read through this thread completely and take notes. Most importantly, take your time and meet some of the good people on this thread.

                    • Hiya, thanks for the warm welcome.

                      I did indeed see Lidmotor's video there which is why I'm not sure what you are chasing.

                      I'll look at those other videos and re-read stuff.

                      However, whilst I do I'll be pondering this:

                      The UFO motor clearly runs faster and pushes those pieces of paper over further than the stock. So current comes in, does some work. Then he fires up the 2nd motor and the work that the first motor does is both audibly and visually less, whilst the other motor is running, kind of what you would expect when you share out the power like that.
                      Again, towards the end he mentions that the UFO motor draws about 3 times the current, which again you would expect if it has a higher RPM and doing more work.
                      Unfortunately the video doesn't show the current draw and voltage at the battery when:
                      A The UFO motor is running
                      B The UFO motor and the offset motor is running

                      So what I'm asking from that video is, if I ran the battery down to nothing (without using 3BGS ) on both the types of motors, which one will perform more work?

                      So when I'm hunting through these forums, what I'm looking for is good solid evidence that shows me that this motor does produce more work in the entire system compared to a conventional motor system, correcting for possible, measured inefficiencies of a work in progress.

                      As for sharing out the voltage like that, I'm sure that could have a useful application, providing the draw on the output doesn't reduce the torque of the primary motor, or that increase the work done from the primary motor doesn't decrease the output voltage, although I'm guessing that increasing the primary motor draw will output a higher voltage. Of which could be regulated for power supply to a logic circuit (ie the flight controller of a quad copter for instance). If all else fails, it may have a use for that

                      edit:

                      "There is no need to be so critical/negative."

                      O there is always a need to be critical, if Tesla wasn't both critical and vocal of Edison's DC current for power transmission we may not have AC power transmission accepted in time to be the main transmission source, particularly for older countries like America (compared to Australia for instance). As for being negative, well there is no need for that, I'm sorry if I came across that way, I didn't mean too

                      • rmcversion0.0.3

                        @all
                        While I was working on version 0.0.4 last night I discovered a small error in version 0.0.3. There is a small error in spMode1. It has been corrected. If you have not added a lot of code simply download the corrected version. If you have added code you can correct it by opening this file.

                        https://www.dropbox.com/s/2v7ycrmv56...Correction.rtf

                        this is the entire mode 1 subroutine look up this subroutine in the program and highlight the entire subroutine and paste this code over it and it should replace the old code.

                        for those who understand code well it will probably be fastest to find the sub routine spMode1 and find this code at the bottom of the subroutine:

                        }
                        }
                        }
                        //delay for rest of delay period
                        delayMicroseconds(w3);
                        }
                        }

                        make it look like this

                        }
                        }
                        //delay for rest of delay period
                        delayMicroseconds(w3);
                        }
                        }
                        }

                        the delay is not inside the outer loop. I did not catch it before I posted the program.

                        Cheers

                        Garry

                          Hello @Zardox, @All, you can download the latest version from

                          Arduino - Software

                          Arduino 1.0.5 (release notes), hosted by Google Code:

                          Windows Installer, Windows (ZIP file)
                          Mac OS X
                          Linux: 32 bit, 64 bit
                          source

                          I have used Arduino 1.0.5 for quite sometime on Linux (Ubuntu 12.04 64bit)

                          I just downloaded gzipped file and extracted in home folder and it appeared as "arduino-1.5.2" sub-directory.

                          In general, the repositories hold only older versions.

                          All the best

                          • Hi Toll I found the Youtube "Defining Radiant Energy Fields part 1" to be most instructive. It explains( and demonstrates) that there are TWO magnetic fields- not just one from the battery. Thats why there is such intense developement of the pulser.

                              I found the sketch that I had working the best.

                              https://www.dropbox.com/home/forumsketch

                              rpm isn't working correctly, still needs slight calibrating.

                              I made I vid of setup, but you cant make out the numbers on laptop, sorry

                              Sensors - YouTube

                              I'll make a clearer one if you want me to. I measured 12.something on clampmeter, and 10-11 amps, mostly 11, on arduino. We measured 10 -11amps, back aways, when we were testing constant dc voltage.
