    This is bullsh*t guys...

Nothing this BIG could be kept so secret for so long without hundreds of law suits from the inventors, their investors, and the millions of people who operate truck fleets, delivery vans, etc.

And the oil companies are not stupid. They have tons of cash and would buy the rights to these miracle batteries to monopolize the market and keep their strangle hold on us.

But if by some remote chance these batteries really do exist, I would have to agree with what Patriot said because we are definitely headed towards WWIII with all the civil wars in the Middle East and China's growing into a real super power and the return of Putin who is spending billions to restore Russia's military might. To add to the tension, India and Pakistan both just test-launched their own nuclear missiles to intimidate each other. America cannot afford to police the world any more so we will have to worry about protecting our own ass. Again, IF these batteries exist, they could make a big difference on the battlefield.

Also, if they used Thorium they would be radioactive and unsafe - another reason I don't think they are real or allowed to be used by the public.

Dude you have every thing wrong, do some real reading before you make a post like this before you come in to a post you know nothing about and call it bull ****. Your a freaking Shill and you have no business on this forum

This is for the trolls who think were building dangerous nuclear devices, or some one who doesn't understand the principal: It is under the impression that they use some sort of nuclear reaction to generate the power, this is completely false. They generate power from a conversion from radiation to electrical power ( just like a solar cell ) that is why they are harmless, all the radiation is absorbed and used as useful power, a correctly functional unit will have absolutely no radiation output because it is all converted into electrical power. This is very possible with the use of "polarized plasma" of a sort, I know how to create this plasma and I even have some designs I will be testing. I just hope you all realize this is NOT a nuclear reaction this is an absorption of electromagnetic energy therefor has no radio active waste or emissions. But of course raw radio active materials can be hazardous and must be treated with caution. It does not mean that the end result will be a dangerous bomb or radiation hazard of some sort just because we are using these materials. Radio active substance are quite amazing and deserve more interest but unfortunately the common mind set is that they are extremely dangerous and if you treat it wrongly it will explode in a nuclear blast or some such. If you actual get into the physics and chemistry you will see how hard it is to create a nuclear blast or the deadly gamma radiation that we all fear. What I'm trying to say is that these substances have amazing uses other than killing, and all we have to do is realize that. Realize how we have twisted something that was naturally safe and quite amazing in of itself into a hazard. Is this all we are capable of? We have taken one of the rare sources of free energy and turned it into a weapon so that every one will fear it. And now everyone fears to use it for simple power generation.

Chill out and tell me why I am wrong in your opinion

Chill dude. I read all 75 posts of this link before I commented. Am I not allowed to disagree? If not they why bother to have a forum? Instead of trashing me, why not just tell me WHY you think I am wrong. Tell me the following:

          1) How come something this big was not at Wikileaks?

          2) How could thousands of government employees keep a secret so long?

          3) Why aren't the inventors and their investors suing the pants off the government?

          4) Why are all the academic geeks and researches so silent about such a HUGE breakthrough?

          5) Where is the inventor(s) of this technology now?

If you can't answer the above, lets just agree to disagree without getting so damn hostile okay?

If you are still asking these questions you obviously haven't done real reading on the subject, this thread is about possible devices that will function as a nuclear battery if you have nothing to contribute then stop posting because you will be ignored

No Leviathan, this thread is about one nuclear battery called a "Thorium Plasma Battery" as you will see in the OP. It is for this first post that I have five legitimate questions. Can you answer these five questions for me instead of launching insults? If you want to ignore me that is okay, but I hope someone else will deal with my 5 questions.

You are only helping the Chinese & Russians

The people who run web sites like these should not allow people to expose classified military secrets on-line. Scream all you want, but if these batteries were ever used in a way that cost American lives in a war, you would be guilty of aiding and abetting the enemy. Then how would feel when you watched more Americans being buried on TV and learn they were killed by some advanced weapon system that used technology you blabbed about to strangers on the internet? You think our enemies abroad don't look for technology "freebies" on the internet? The Chinese can duplicate anything. They have been doing it for over a century. This site is grossly irresponsible and I plan to ask my Congressman to do something about it.

Freedom is never free. If you are not willing to pay its price then stand in line for it like the rest of the world!

Not all of us are Citizens of the United States of America anyway. And
secondly is is not even remotely possible to share a secret we have no
                      knowledge of.

                      Moot point.

Breaking News - They found the missing Russian inventor

This is getting serious guys. I just got this in from my RSS feed. The Russian inventor of the plasma battery (Dimitri Petronov) who disappeared in 2010 was pulled form a river in Russia. Here's the link

[Global News] Plasma Energy Battery Inventor Dimitri Petronov Found in Moscow - Dead

Something isn't right, in an interview of Petronov's wife she said that she received a box in the mail containing his watch, which was muddy and rusty but that was on 1/17/12. In the article stating that they found his body was on 1/29/12, so either they found his body long before 1/29 and sent the watch to MP before the 1/17 interview, and then 12 days later the email stating that they found his body was sent to the detectives. Or there are two different watches. Either could be a possibility, in the email it said that they body had its hands cut off, I would think this would only be done if the killer didn't want the body to be IDed with finger prints, and expected the body to be found before the fingers decomposed. Just some facts to think about, he may or may not be dead...

                            Plasma Batteries

Hello Folks: The topic you are discussing was sent to me via e-mail from a friend. Found it so interesting that i read every post and became a member only to share with you my experience. I have worked for most of the major aerospace organizations including NASA in various positions. When at Boeing Huntington Beach, CA, I found myself in the Battery Lab Vault, down in the basement one day, discussing these shelves of batteries with the person in charge. He showed me batteries that he said would never go dead, they would last for ever without a charge. In-fact, one of them was installed in the old Pioneer Satellites from the 60's i believe and at the time was still sending telemetry back. This was 1990, I asked why can't we get these batteries to the public? His response was that it would kill an industry because we could not sell the public a new battery every few years. This technology has been around a long time! Good luck, and i hope you are able to work this out without sacrificing your precious life's as others obviously have. Cheers!

Leslie did not say they found the body on the 29th of January. If you read carefully she said the email was sent on the 29th of January from her friend Sergei. Nobody mentions when Dimitri's body was actually found but according to Marina's interview it would have been at least 2 weeks before the 17th of January do the first week of January or lst week of December seems likely. But then again, in murder cases involving mobsters, government agents, or unidentified people the cops sometimes do not release their reports to the media or delay doing so while they try to find/trap the killer. I mean sometimes it better for them to keep quiet or t least delay stuff hitting the newspapers.

Or as you say, maybe he is still alive and they want everyone to think he is dead, but then I would ask... for what reason? Right now I think the most impotant thing is to find out the real true role of this Zachary character.

Side Note: Thanks KCJones for your note but what you are talking about are the first generation of nuclear batteries called "RTGs" which were first used in 1961 when NASA launched the voyager. This link has a photo of one Nuclear Generators Power NASA Deep Space Probes (Infographic) | Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTGs) | Plutonium-238 Power | Space.com But those batteries were highly radiactive and worked on a completely different principal. By all indications this new nuclear battery called the Thorium plasma battery or "TPB" do not use fission nor decay (like other voltaic batteries) and have the same radiation level as a cell phone.
