  • Seeds from Outer Space

    Interesting!

While most governments are reacting to the global food shortage by growing more food, the Chinese have decided to grow the same amount of fruits and vegetables, but with A TWIST: giant versions of standard food staples: 210-pound pumpkins, 2-pound tomatoes, and cucumbers that are over 2-feet long -- that are currently feeding families in 22 of China's provinces, and governments in Europe, Japan and elsewhere are taking notice.

This weird, believe-it-or-not scenario becomes even more fantastic as it turns out that the reason these foods can grow so huge is because they've been sent to outer space. The seeds get blasted into outer space, and, after they return, transform into enormous eatables -- but no one knows why.

The China Academy of Sciences, working with the then Soviet Union, first started looking at the benefits of growing seeds in space in 1987. Then two years ago the Shijian-8, the first recoverable satellite designed solely to carry space seeds, was blasted into outer space on China's Long March rocket. On board were more than 2,000 seeds.

Aaron: This is very interesting. I've long been a proponent of Space Agriculture. For instance, giant celery grown out there could provide a replacement for wood, as a building material.

Without gravity, capilary action won't be limited, as far as height, so plants can concievably grow much bigger.

I don't know what it is about the space environment which alters the Chinese seeds, but that supports my belief.

        Tesla3.com

        Hi visitors of tesla3.com,

thanks Aaron for the link to that webpage on tesla3.com

As you might have seen the website still under construction, and should take the place of my old website Home_Introduction_Site Map - WATER as FUEL - review of available technologies. MDG 2006-2007

Tesla3.com should be working soon, with regular updates, hopefully

It's a lot of daily work if we want to do things as well as we can, and we have to earn a living also ... that's why I understand the great work that is doing Aaron and other webmasters, trying to bring light to our minds

Anyway from the moment tesla3.com will be running I'll integrate it in my signature to kind of publicise it. And then you will know it has new stuff in.

        Hope to be helpful,
        thanks again,

          stressfield seeds

growing seeds in a different stressfield thats what this thread should be called

Scientists have yet to offer a definitive explanation of why space causes the seeds to mutate but they believe that cosmic radiation, micro-gravity and magnetic fields may play a part, but beyond that guesswork, there's seemingly no reason that space seeds should be a miracle food. Our MINA correspondent, a physicist, believes micro gravity plays a major role.

          the possibilities are endless.

              Space Radiation

I wonder? Somehow the seeds must have been exposed to a sort of radiation. So what kind of radiation can we have outside in space that is not on earth?

Infra Red and lower spectrum, then on the other end is Far Ultra Violet and higher like Gamma rays. UV and Gamma is destructive and or missforming. So I thing we can look at IR range, maybe with additioanl electrons/ions?

Very interesting experiments to follow up with.
Therefore we need to find NEW ways, NEW experiments and NEW lines of thoughts.

Coming to think of something in the same line, a persoanl observation.
In general animals, fruits and vegetables from regions near equator is generally smaller than those in countries far away - like Australia, NZ, South Africa, Canada....

In SA, AU, NZ I am used to nice tomatoes of some 10+ cm, oranges of 12 cm, watermellons of 70 cm, etc. Here in Thailand, Indonesia, Phillipines, Middle East I only see that sizes when imported. Local stuff, same thing - is at least 50% smaller; on average.

Different cultivar? NO! I brought assortment of seed from South Africa two years ago - they all produced poor quality and small, though my soil prep and fertilizer was good. I did farm vegies in RSA for three years.

Therefore we need to find NEW ways, NEW experiments and NEW lines of thoughts.

                      Very interesting

This is a topic well worth some exploration...

Leave it to the Chinese to come up with a very practicle appoach to space applications. If the vacuum of space can produce these effects on produce imagine what other things are possible.

With all the experiments over the years our guys missed this oppurtunity somehow. The idea of better production of fruits and vegetables by merly having them in space for a time seems extemely plausible due to size and wieght constraints being negligable

                        lost genes

So the space seeds "lost genes" if that is any kind of clue to what is happening. Seems they don't know why or at least are not saying why if they really do know.

Could it be that the seeds are just "tricked" in space because there is no gravity there, so they "think" that with no gravity they can grow bigger. They get used to it and grow accordingly and do not change this behavior when returned to earth?
It's better to wear off by working than to rust by doing nothing.

                            low gravity and big stuff

I think it is something along those lines. The ancient records of "giants" from outer space may have been in low to no gravity for too long

The Nefilim are supposed to be giants but more accurately, Nefilim means Earth born to my understanding. They are supposed to be offspring of human women and the angels or watchers that may have been the "Igigi." So they had the genetics of their space traveling fathers and grew large.

Also, there was supposed to be less gravity in the past if the Earth was much smaller plus supposedly up to 50% or more oxygen content in the atmosphere so even the trees, etc... grew large (in lower gravity) by the Earth being smaller...I think that one idea of pangaea all fitting if the Earth is shrunk...makes total sense and the low gravity was therefore available down here.
                            Sincerely,
                            Aaron Murakami

I do not think the gravity has anything to do with that. Unless I am mistaken
(Have to check up) the Russians also did plant experiments on Space Station
Mir; but I can not remember anything about them being extra large.

Besides at the Low Earth Orbit those Chinese satellites went, the gravity is
only something like 8% to 10% less than on sea level. Oh, yes; just remember
another thing: The Chinese did many other experiments with seeds. They also
did in vacuum chambers, pressure pods, weightlessness, UV, IR and all sorts
of radiation. Practically I think they did everything with seeds - and plenty with
human genes too; which is not always published.

You are right Aaron: The Nefilim were earth born from the angels and Homo Sapiens
women, they were big probably because of genes. The other beings described
were all bigger than Homo Sapiens. I wonder if there were ever a mix the
                              opposite way.

Personally, the only variable I do suspect is radiation - It could be due to
some cosmic radiation that their DNA changed; same as reasonable dosage of
Gamma or Beta will even change human genes. Far UV and all Cosmic
radiation up from that can not penetrate through the earth atmosphere.
That might also tell us that there are most likely to be other forms of energy
that we do not know about - because it can not be observed through our
                              earthly atmosphere.

At least it makes for interesting ‘break time’ talks!
