  • Bring sunlight underneath larger plants

2-Liter Bottle as a 50 Watt Light Bulb HACK

clear water / soda bottles, either using 12-16 oz or larger liter bottles
would bring sunlight from above or the sides down to lower leaves
and/or smaller just sprouting plants below ..
this would bring sunlight to a smaller still growing plant that would get larger
than the one currently blocking the sun.
allowing denser planting and sprouting under the shade of larger plants.
fill the bottles with water and place them, they could double as plant markers too.

i've just thought of this and will be trying it soon. i have been planting very
densely as it is now and some plants just are not doing as well as others.

i've not paid attention to good companion plant relationships and that could
be part of the issue but i'm pretty sure this is going to help out a lot.

hmmm, surrounding a young plant with 4-5 bottles could / might increase
bushiness of plant creating more side leaves when it is younger?
Remember to be kind to your mind ...

Oh that's a good idea! Planting more plants will help in bringing down CO2 content in the atmosphere..

In nature / jungle small plant always protected. I read somewhere that sun will make plant grow big fast. But Schauberger mention that thin tree is stronger and is higher quality.

Maybe different story for food plants. Mature quicker is better?

        growing plants

Plants that grow under others don't like alot of sun that's why they grew in the shade under others
