Hi,
I have read alot of material Dollard has on the TMT. I have some points I need to clear up and I was hoping someone could help...
Is the TMT powered by pulsed DC or oscillator AC? Or do both work?
What is the quarter wavelength referencing to? Length of primary, secondary or extra coil?
What purpose does the extra coil serve?
How can we define frequency for pulsed DC? Does this have to be repeated at natural frequency?
Does anyone have a basic schematic of a full TMT?
What importance/part does the spark gap play? Is it necessary? What produces a disruptive discharge? Does it need to be quenched?
Also, I am doing my Masters in EE. I was wondering if anyone had any research topics that could "hide" the controversial aspects? Maybe something with disruptive plasmas (fan of electric universe theory)? I am interested in negative resistance, excitation of parameters (inductance, capacity) and any other non-linear engineering....any suggestions???
