By the way. I've been discussing something with Donny. There's a possibility that a small 'gap' in the winding adds capacitance to the resistor. I don't see any gaps in your winding and nor in Ash's and, interestingly, it was also omitted in Aaron's. That added capacitance may be a good thing. Not sure if Glen's windings included that gap. Can you check on this? Our's definitely did. And as I mentioned - it may prove to be required. You could run a test with close winding and then compare? And as another thought. Can you use glue to anchor the wiring? Or is that too messy? I'm due to meet with the 'resistor manufacturer' during the course of this week. I'll see if I can get some tips from him. I'll also get some more wire if he still has this.
