  • Backyard battery rejuvination

    Dear forum,
Here are some of my results on battery rejuvenation. I am not using any of the technologies on the internet (pulse charging, back emf pulses, high voltages, epsom salt, additives, welder etc.)

This battery is not 100% but this technology is only weeks old and these are the first promising results.

    Attached are my results.

    Give it a shot!

    Interesting!
    How you do this?

I'm not going to reveal how its done.

Nothing special just get out there and give it a try. Some pointers:

14.4v - 16.2v is when the chemistry of the battery finished (80 - 100% charge)

High resistance is due to crystalised lead sulfate (this stops battery from charging)

Get a hydrometer and CCA tester so you don't fool yourself

Charge a old/dead battery slowly other wise the decrystalisation will allow massive amps to charge it but all the lead sulfate will fall off the plates causing a short. I destroyed one battery this way.

If everybody stopped buying a new battery every 2 or 3 years it would bankrupt the battery industry. I don't want to do this.

Just get out there and have fun you will figure it out. If I can do it you can too.

I have just started on a new dead battery and I will keep more documentation this time round.

      Good luck.

        Why this thread?

Speakerbox why did you start this thread? You post on here that you have a new secret method for rejuvenating batteries and then you post you won't tell how you did it. So why even post anything in the first place. There are already about a dozen different methods on this forum alone for rejuvenating batteries so the fact they can be rejuvenated is nothing new.

At least once a month or more often someone comes on this forum and posts they have found a new secret for how to do this or that. But they can't or won't reveal how it is done. What that means most of the time is they are only wasting everyone's time with posts about something that they don't really have at all. They are just like children looking for attention by telling an adult a tall tale. If you really have something then share it or else go away and quit wasting our time with your fairy tales.

          re whatever

How is it done. Ok its easy. Get a 24v unregulated dc power supply and charge your battery.

I must admit I was another victim of false positives and conspiracy fear.

first and foremost you can not recover lead acid batteries to 100%. Its a lie. The positive plate is made from powder paste and decays naturally.

It is true some batteries go flat and can be recovered but they will not last 10 years like others would like you to believe.

If the 24v doesnt work just build a joule thief and connect the back emf to a battery while charging it. Use hv diodes to guide it and a neon lamp over the transistor to protect it.

in terms of false positives I mean the ampere hour capacity it 30 to 50% while the CCA is about 80%.

I was getting 600hca from a 710cca battery. And only 30 Rc minutes compared to 160...

I have a detailed explanation of how I converted batteries to aluminium sulfate if your interested. Aluminium Sulfate Lead Acid Battery Conversion

There is no magic fix when batteries normally dies from mechanical failure.

it was fun and lucky I didnt waste money on how to magically fix battery books lol.

And if I may state that I have not once asked for money in exchange for my ideas. Unlike other **** peddled on this website.

I have some batteries that are at least 15 years old and still work fine. Some of those are even gel type Lead acid batteries. They have been treated nicely with the bedini energizer.
