  • difference between inductor or capacitor discharge?

I've been following this technology for a few years now and notice that Bedini mostly uses inductive discharge for his motors. Is there an electrical difference between an inductive discharge as opposed to a capacitor discharge?

    Thanks.

Bedini SG - spike vs caps

Technically, the Bedini SG's are not motors, they're energizers. They're not intended to make torque. The wheel spins and the primary purpose is to have a mechanical method for it to have it trigger itself.

The inductive spike from the coils are high voltage potential with almost no current. A cap discharge is a lower voltage higher current impulse.

A battery charged with the spikes will not be compatible with conventional positive energy chargers since the spikes are a form of negative energy.

If you charge caps with the spikes then discharge caps to batteries, the batteries are then charge with positive energy - that concept is called "forward conversion" and those batteries will be compatible with conventional chargers.
    Sincerely,
    Aaron Murakami
