Hello.
I had viewed the videos of Imhotep on how to modify computer fans to be used in Bedini systems as feedback coils to trigger a 2n3055 transistor.
There are 4 coils on the computer fan.
4 coils have 3 leads. I need to add a 4th one. I figured this out.
I couldn't understand the rest from the videos.
Are coils rewound or only a 4th lead is added?

My goal is something like this:

except there are four coils on the fan and the circuit depicts only two coils.
What do I do to make it all work?
I have a coil before me and I am not sure what to do with it.
I am building this circuit:

I am not sure why coils are wound with different wire gauge.
If I was drawing all those circuits I would draw the coil to clearly suggest how fan has to be modified to make it work...
So as I understand, the fan is spinning when there is no load. When there is load, the fan acts as a transformer and stops. Correct?
Thank you.
Vladimir
