Hi everybody
I would like to know what could output those converted fan , I am struggling to get over 160v output.
It s bifilar , 25\30 ohm coil with a mps 8099 , 200 turns on each four poles with a variable resistor on the trigger.
It is the size of the small one that rick shows in the EFTV DVD but didn't t run it.
Any input as how to improve it?Could it be because of the small gauge wire?I used salvaged wire that should be smaller than 26awg , it,s around 100feet long may be a little less.
Does the small stator could reduce efficiency and trying a bigger one would help?
Could the mps limit my output?everything was runing cold .
I will soon purchase other transistor to try the difference.
Thanks for your help
