just for an update
using 4 transistors ssg 5 coiler input can be varied from 200 ma to 3.5 a ( transistors get hot) 33000 uf caps on both ends maybe my old batteries are dead since they will not go up to 12 v for 2 hours even in my old six filar set up ..
Ive left charged up @ 20 v for so long thats why maybe i damaged the plates 30 hkd used 20 ah wheelchair deep cycle batteris As Minoly said better go for new batteries to have good results

will try the thgird circuit same 4 transistor set up and see what happens

Hey Totoalas,

Yes the MJL21194 transistor you can push 200W through it if the heat sink will dissapate the heat from it.
I have pushed 800mA through a single MJL when testing a SS SSG circuit but did heat up even with a heat sink.

Taking that battery to 20V should only just boil away the electrolye and you can just top that back up (if flooded cell) since Radiant does not damage like conventional as I'm sure you know

I agree with "new batteries" to obatin best results, just make sure they have not sat on the self for a year under 12V.

Hey,

I seen the clip charging the 12V@7AH battery and it was charging fast. However, you were pushing over 2A and IMHO is too high and would be more conventional energy than radiant.
I have done the same and the 7AH SLAB would charge to 15V in 5-20mins but was only a surface charge. When I conducted the load test the battery was resting at 12.6, not 13V and thus my lesson was learnt with using more current than I need. But the SS SSG is a different animal to the regular circuit and I'm not 100% on what is tuned for maximum radiant output.

All I can say for certain with this is the circuit will reasonate with a audible sound and when this ringing of the circuit occurs the charging increases for less input current at the correct trigger frequency.
My 2 transistor circuit is about 4kHz and the 4 transistor in 1.33 to 1.37kHz,
but all builds are different

Hi folks, Hi totoalas, I'm not sure what you are showing in the video, though it looks like you might be filling a capacitor in some way (radiant charger), then charging the source battery again with the capacitor powering the radiant charger, though this time no amperage is obviously taken from source because it is being recharged.
Is this what you are showing, thanks.

from your previous drawing of minoly mod 6 coiler now to his 2nd mod 4 transistor using only 5 coiler the extra coil connected to a toroid with ring magnet bet the 5 coiler and toroid then to a diode and goes back to the source battery
from initial 9.4 v standing voltage it went to 11.20 after 6 h
hours see my sketch in joule ringer same set up

If you add the neon to the CE of the transistor you can safely remove the load for at least 5-10min intervals. I do this all the time when showing people the SSG can generate 200-400V (depending on the build) off 12V input and is not wound like a transformer Also, how you can see and hear the radiant pulses generated in the neons.
I have done this many times with no damage to the transistors, but do that with heavily sulfated batteries and nothing can save the transistor

I'm still learning everyday with all the different tech I experiment with

Hey Totoalas,

I will have to check that out on the "joule ringer" thread. Did you try that on a few parallel AA batteries, that should be noticable

How is the schematic exactly cause I cannot understand what you guys did here?
Did you charge a cap from an SS and then running the SS with the cap?

You’re doing really well so far. I’m very interested in your results with the aluminum.
The diode – you’re not the first to wonder why I like the diode. Others have flat out said it does nothing for them and they remove it. Here is a small thing you can do with it that should shed a tiny bit of light:

you have to get through the sniffer coil stuff.
Is your coil charging up to its fullest potential?
Do your transistors have enough “ON” time?
You can adjust the “ON” time by adjusting the cap size across your pot. You’re asking the right questions… keep on keeping on :-)

Hi Patrick,
I think that what you show with multiple spikes then a rest period, repeated over and over like you show is a very efficient way to charge a battery. The way you do it is way slicker than how I have been doing it. I've been using a seperate timer circuit to gate it on and off, I'll have to try your setup. Have you put a scope on JB's "10 Amp 12V Battery Charger (AC Power Input)" ? (+_+)
