Very much like to know: in the input voltage, current in the same circumstances, Newman motor, window motor and ordinary brushless motor comparison which is more efficient?

Of course, here that the efficiency is: input voltage and current under the same circumstances, the maximum motor speed and torque maximum.

PS:Ordinary brushless motor similar computer cooling fan motor.

Motor speed its meaningless, to have the good answer you need to ask : Whats the input power of this 3 motor for 1HP output torque . that will give you the answer you want, in a perfect world its about 750W per HP so with the input power of the 3 motor for 1hp output you will know which one is the most efficient. For torque , Baldor have some Extremely efficient motor in the 90%+ effiency if you want a motor really fast in Premium Effiency listing on the baldor website.

from what i seen...

the motor with best performance in relation with consumption / rpm is the "one magnet no bearing bedini"... the consumption is very low and velocity is very fast because it haves low friction in relation with other types of motors (bearing types)... and you can improve it and appply magnetic levitation to rotor!

you can explore the channel of jonnydavro, he his a guru in this stuff, was the first to show this aproach...

but this motor will not be good to use torque to pull belts or flywheel...

To the best of my understanding, the Adam's pulse motor had or has the highest efficiency of any other motor. I don't know whether it has been replicated yet, or not. You can pull up the patent on this motor and research it for yourself. Good Luck. Stealth

seems like only window motor(newman) has enough torque to propel mower.

Window motor is not a newman motor!

I have studied both types of motor. I have one of the the original books Newman was selling back in the eighties and they are not the same. Just because the window motor has a coil around the outside does not make it a Newman motor. The window motor uses an entirely different type of rotor and no brushes nor commutator. Both motors are very efficient but they are not the same. I was at the conference and saw Rick's mower up close. It is not powered by a Newman motor!
