    Hi Scott and Brent,

Work has been kicking my butt for the last two weeks so I haven't accomplished much with my build. I did manage to wind the two side coils and install the core in the center coil and order parts. I've attached a picture of my wheel (Yes that's a Amish buggy wheel), coils, magnets, magnet holders and a special 12V generator I'm going to use as load.

The big news is that I was able to scrounge 14 good Trojan deep cycle L16 batteries from the local solar power folks. They are 6V batteries so I have enough to make up two 36V battery banks with 2 batteries as spares. Each battery has a sticker saying 450AH@20hrs. I may need a bigger wheel!

Thanks for keeping us all inspired with your dedication.

    • Nice!

      Ron,

Looks like you are making some head way!

Scott and I have been busy as well at work and haven't spent much time with our GT3 "Junior" recently. I'm very jealous of your battery find...that is awesome! We are really hoping to find some bigger batteries in the future. You should be very happy with those big batteries.

We will be eager to see how your build progresses and hope to be able to start sharing some results with those that are trying to replicate John's work. This has been fun trying to solve all the riddles, but we just don't feel like we have all the answers yet. Sure would be nice if we could get JB back for some pointers!

      Keep up the good work!

      Brent

      • May be what we have all been waiting for

        Hey All,

I was pretty excited to see the following anouncement...

We are pleased to announce the last DVD in the John Bedini trilogy covering the debut of the 12 ft. high monopole motor at the Renaissance Conference in November 2010.

Entitled "Tech Review," this one contains a private 84 minute lecture by John in his lab explaining in intricate detail how the multiple circuits and sub-circuits all work together harnessing what John terms "magnetricity."

All the tips and tricks are here that John didn't have the time to go into in such detail in the public forum.

Available from the DVD section of the Tom Bearden online store at The Tom Bearden Website - online store

May be what we have all been waiting for. Maybe this will help us decipher some of the riddles and questions that we all have been looking for! I will definitely be ordering this one!

        Thanks, Brent

Have you considered using 2 plates with the same size slot so that you can rotate one of them to get a narrower slot? The machine work would have to be quite accurate but it serve the purpose.

                  @ all

Very interesting thread. I have just finished reading it up to this point.

Some day I may be able to try building one, but for now the weather has just gotten good enough to begin to work out in the garage again. So I will be starting my runs on my SSG for advancement.

                    We just finished watching - re-watching re-watching....
anyone trying to build the re-gauging part of this, this is the vid. it does not get into the ckt but it does not look like that much of a stretch. the big stuff is everything else. In a hundred years I would not have put 1 and 1 together to make 1100 here.
                    very informative!

                    • Thanks Randy,
That's a great idea. I had not thought about that. I just found two thin
plates of round aluminum too. I was planing on using a thin cut dremel tool
but would need to mount it sideways on the CNC machine and rotate the
plate for each cut. That idea may save me some time.

                      • Getting there!

                        Hi all!
How is your build's coming around?
Finally up and running with my wheel!!
Made all 3 coils, used bigger iron rods for the cores, havent got any welding rods just jet. No magnetfield shield mounted yet, and magnets on the wheel are maybe too small compared to the coils.
But it started at first try!
Still playing with coil placement and timing.
I'm using JohnK's circuit version 1.5. Two motorcycle batteries in series as primary, and 2 115 amp big ones in series as secondary. Tried different configurations.
Not sure about the cap dump circuit, the leds light up like in all your videos and the scr sounds like it is working, but when I measure the secondary bank it is only showing a tiny tiny increase when it is dumping.
It is charging, but very very slow, not like anything you guys are showing on your videos.
If I measure at the cap it shows about 35 volts before it dumps. Im sure it is just something I have misunderstood or forgotten or both, but I have been over the circuit 100 times, and tried different led's, caps, more zeners(in series) and several scr's of the same kind.(TYN816) Tried to play with it at 12 volt aswell, works the same way. Cant really see what I'm doing wrong here, or if it is just my batteries kidding me around. The motorcycle batteries are brand new, but 1 of the big ones are not 100 %.
Alot of fun anyway ;-) Thanks to all for inspiration and solutions!
I'll try to upload a picture later!

                          What size is your capacitor?

                          • Hi!
Tried alot, from 16 v 2200uf, 35 volt 4700, 50 v 6800. They all work, or so it seems on the led's. Dumping faster or slower depending on size and if i parallell two of 1 kind. Bit still no increase in batt voltage. Running now at 12 volt, with 1 35 v 4700. If i measure at the katode on the scr i ser about 23 volts before the dump.

                            • I was running the hall sensor inverted over the main magnets, now I have made a kind of timing wheel with round magnets, and getting much better results. Maybe the puls from the hall was to short to make any power from the coils. Strange, the potential was there over the cap, but when dumping to the batteri it sort of disappeared.
Ill just keep on fiddeling around with it, learning by doing

                              Best regards

I would use a 25V cap when running at 12V, a 50V cap when running at 24V and a 75V cap when running at 36V. Then choose the size of the cap to dump 2 or 3 times per second.

Try not to parallel the caps or you lose too much as no two caps are alike.
