      Nobel Thread

      @PhysicsProf:

I have just finished reading this entire thread and must say that I am very impressed with the attitude and the apparent good will being presented here. Being fairly new to all this energy stuff and having a great time replicating some of the builds here on this forum. As I have seen stated here a few times, simple is important to involve people like myself. Should a free energy or COP > 1 device be presented that is too complicated and/or a technical challenge to build, who benefits?

I for one would like to see a pay pal donation account set up so that some of us could help in this Endeavour. While we are not all equipped to be discoverers, inventors, or scholarly in the field of energy research, many of us are enthusiastic to replicate.

I do hope that you will consider allowing those who can, to contribute to the cause, even if only a small amount. A monthly or quarterly newsletter to those who have donated informing them of projects being funded and progress of those projects in very general terms might be enough incentive to find donors to assist you.

      Happy Holidays to All,
      Brad S

        A very good idea
Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone else's ~BW~ It's kind of fun to do the impossible ~WD~ From now on, I'll connect the dots my own way ~BW~ If I shall be like him, who shall be like me? ~LR~ Had I not created my whole world, I would certainly have died in other people’s ~AN~

          Thank you Dr. Jones

          Dr. Jones,

Thank you Dr. Jones for your contributions to the energy discussion and a special thank you for your generous offer to help assist those who have promising ideas. I am new here and I am encouraged by this thread. My device may never come close to unity let alone over unity. It might have as much chance as a tooth brush but who's to say that a tooth brush can't go over unity if one knows how to do it.

          Thanks for your inspiration.

          Bless you and yours,
          Jim

Just in case anyone is interrested I ended up maxing out my panel at 235 volts. under 7,800 lumen. Obviously nowhere near the 368 volts I need. I tested the outputs at 100 watts, 50 watts and 25 watts. At 100 watts(7,800 lumen) the panel produced 235 volts. At 50 watts(3,900 lumen) the panel produced 208 volts. And at 25 watts(1,950 lumen) the panel produced 185 volts. So I have decided to build a second panel. Good thing is that I can get 185 volts from one panel at about 2,000 lumen. Which will give me 370 volts under 4,000 lumen using two panels. This brings my calculations down from being able to produce 14,600 lumen on the outside to 9,120 lumen which should yield an extra 378 millimaps and 4 volts(volts are easily variable). More than enough to run a cell phone but no quiet enough to run a computer. Once the parts are in, built and connected I should have a running model between January 10th-15th. I'll keep you guys updated as I go.

            ,Shawn
all parts are ordered. (1) T-962 Infrared SMT Oven($275), 65 amorphous silicon solar cells($238), 52 quad-LED MCPCB($55), and 1 (10cc syringe) of no clean solder paste composition Sn96.5Ag3.0Cu0.5 (96.5/3/0.5) ($23). Now it is just a waiting game.
I am laying an offer on the table for anyone that has the proper equipement for testing to come to Los Angeles, California to test this once it is up and running. PhysicsProf has already agreed to come and bring his equipment for testing. I will provide a short window for anyone desiring to come. recording devices will be permitted. I only ask that attendees, for this testing, be willing to sign a statement that you witnessed the device in operation and the testing evaluations by each evaluator. I will not determine a place or time for testing until the device is built and operational; I do not want to waste anyone's time. The testing time and date will be very short notice. The device should be completed around January 10-15th. I will keep everyone updated.
Anyone with soldering skills is invited to hep me put it together. This will obviously give that individual(s) a jump on schematics and the mathematics behind the build.

I have received my re-flow soldering oven and soldering paste. Still awaiting my shipment from Australia (MCPCB) and from China (amorphous silicon solar cells). I should have everything by the 7th of January. It should be an interesting and nerve racking two weeks. Wish me luck.

                Hey good luck Shawn
If I was closer i'd zoom over with a soldering iron for sure.
Now this idea is possibly an obvious but..if you had 2 days or a morning and afternoon presentation, you could send an invite to press persons for the second run of tests. At least a local paper or two, who could then help to get the word out. If it all works out, throw a line to Smart Scarecrow and CoasttoCoast for interview spots.
Just excited to hear of your news on the parts orderings and your ever present confidence in the device

Thanks for the vote of confidence and the good will. I'll take your advice into consideration. And to be frank I would have no confidence if I didn't have the math backing it up. But hey a crossed finger or two couldn't hurt either, at least as long as I'm not soldering at the time.

I finally received my shipment of solar cells from China. I will spend the next couple of days putting it together. It should be much easier this time considering that I have successfully completed one HV solar panel already. I'm just a little Leary about connecting them because we all know how voltage starts arching once you get over 300 volts. I am still waiting for my package from Australia (MCPCB's) but the good news is that it shipped today. The quad Metal Core Printed Circuit Boards are the last package that I am waiting for. Then comes the pain in the backside part of assembling the LED's. I have never done it before so this should be quiet a unique learning experience and I'm looking forward to the challenge. The last part will be placement of all parts in the box and electrically connecting everything then jump starting it. A little tinkering might be necessary but I'm hoping not. Anyway I just wanted to keep you guys updated on my progress.
                      ,Shawn

                        Physics Professor

                        PhysicsProf,

The box is ready. Both High voltage panels are ready and the Amorphous silicon panels are installed. The only thing that is left is to receive the MCPCB. They should be here in 4-7 days. If you want to assist me with assembling the LED's then the help would be greatly appreciated. If not then I will go it alone. I will be taking the 24th-27th as a vacation. If everything is not fully assembled by then; I will be using this vacation to do it. Either way the box should be ready for testing, provided it works, between those days. I will make a confirmation post when the box is running for those who care to witness it, film it, or test it. The test dates should be between those given dates barring setbacks in delivery of the last package. I will also provide a location for testing. And of course if the project fails then I will simply come back and just say it didn't work. Pass or fail I will notify everyone.
                        ,Shawn

I agree with this attitude, Shawn. It is the scientific approach. And of course, you can keep adjusting and learning!

I visited your thread, MBrownn -- very interesting work.

Thank you both, I wish you well.

If the bird that we see quacks like a duck and swims like a duck, and so on all the way down the line, then it‘s a duck.

If it crows like a rooster and can‘t swim, then it‘s not a duck. It
doesn‘t make any difference how many people insist on calling it a duck, —it still isn‘t a duck.

The physicists‘ atom is an imaginary atom constructed of
                              imaginary particles.

Irwin Schroedinger tells us, “If the question is asked, do the electrons actually exist on these orbits
within the atom, the answer has to be a decisive no. “The atom of modern physics can only be symbolized by
a partial differential equation in an abstract multi- dimensional space.”
