circuit design, simulate and build tools

there are great tools for circuit design and development.

of course it takes some time to make good use of them but they are powerful and efficient.

          1. KiCad for circuit design and layout

Download - Kicad EDA - KiCad EDA

          2. LTSpice for circuit simulation and circuit layout prototyping

Linear Technology - Design Simulation and Device Models

I use them to build applications integrating PGen pulse generator components.

          enjoy!

            Ok thanks mate.
Hopefully I can wrap my head around it.

If I can get thru the electrician course, I should be able to get thru this

              P Gen

Anyone is using it? Any results so far?

I'm considering buying one, to use with a tube hydrogen cell and a fat bifilar inductor in between. I'd like to figure out how to set it up for resonance sensing.. any idea?

You can download a free operational trial version at https://www.dropbox.com/s/d8wd7coxux...Gen_demo_e.pdf

It works with and without µC hardware connected.

For the resonance sensing you have to use the pll mode and feed the phase shifted signal back into the controller.
the controller will change frequency until given phase shift for resonance is reached.

Fibre optics connections against electromagnetic interference

A fibre optics connection solves ground related problems by isolation between pulsing source and power switch.

A fibre optics connection also solves problems related to connection wires acting as antennas and creating ripple voltages.

The ST connectors of the fibre optic connection are similar to electrical bnc connectors but smaller.
