    Diode Switch?

In one of his patents Meyer says that the Blocking diode acts like a switch that allows the magnetic field produced in the inductor to collapse.
what does that mean? I thought a Blocking diode only allowed current to flow one way, not act like a switch?

anyone have a answer to this?

      diode/choke

The collapse of the choke will go towards the cell and not collapse in the opposite direction back towards the input because of the diode. It moves forward towards ground.

What that means is the diode is a switch and even in Stan Meyer's own words...when input power is turned off to the choke, that diode effectively acts as an open switch disconnecting the input part of the choke from the circuit.

        Thanks Aaron,
that made it all a lot clearer

            Vic

            Hi,

I have replicated the Meyer-Lawton-Ravi WFC via D14.pdf

I simply can't seem to find anything from which I can replicate the VIC/bifilar choke circuits.... (Been at it for the whole weekend now)

Patent 4936961 is a bit unclear for this novice... I need a components list / circuit diagram to follow step-by-step.

It's quite frustrating not being able to "enhance" the WFC to it fullest potential. I believe that once I have reached that stage, the playing only really starts...

Any scanned / e-mailed notes would be greatly appreciated.

            Thanks in advance

              Hi

the effect present in the water cell can be described here
              New Page 1

and Meyers Shematic is very similar to the way a tesla coil resonates and how a tesla coil obtains such extreme voltages...
              DC Tesla Coil design

The VIC is a tricky setup because it has to resonate with the inductor as well as the capacitor

Stan Meyer Circuit Boards and Designs For Sale

Hey guyz, I wanted to submit a site I found the other day that is selling Stan Meyer circuit boards and kits. They seem to be on-target with Stan's original designs-- Stan's Dream - Becoming Reality.
I am thinking of trying the 8xa board they have there

                    Lawton Circuit

Hi guys is there anyone here who used Lawton circuit to the cell cause I have a problem that when increasing more cells to this circuit it keeps same amperage. I need to increase more amps to the cells what can I do?
                    Thanks

                      About resonance in coils

                      Hi guys,
It seems that when using only 1 coil it is important to find its SRF to get any power output from voltage, as I can see here : SEC 01 - Coils importance in SEC - YouTube

But using 2 coils in resonance, it seems that their precise matching AND precise SPACING is more important than the frequency used, as I can see here, with 60Hz : A Short Special No3 - YouTube

I thought about Meyer's circuit after watching the above video from Dr. Stiffler "A Short Special No3" and made a comparing picture, attached below.
Notice how Lawton's circuit second choke is connected to ground, instead of secondary coil ...

                      Just my 2 cts,
                      cheers and good luck,
                      JT
