Thanks Robin, Luc and GREG Speaking of which, tomorrow we take the plugs out and have a look, we have done A LOT of K's with the hydroxy in them, so this should be a good test result.
Robin, Luc or anyone:
Has the gap on the firestorms been optimized for the plasma? If so, What is the measurement on these? I think the larger the gap the hotter the spark which may increase wear. I was looking at the gap on the new Nickel plug photo and was wondering if it was arbatrary or if it was from specs by Krupa's patent.
Xack ,I set the gap at .080in because that is what s1r9a9m9 set his plugs at on his Elcamino water car. I wanted to see if it would make any difference in plug wear or spark output.

Hi everyone,
Can someone pls direct me to the El Camino water car info?
After 1051 Kilometers traveled using the plugs with the hydroxy (we really pushed them too) We can happily report:
6% increase in fuel efficiency, Robin take a bow mate , what an unbelievable job for a home made plug. I say with the plasma circuit it would of been more then that
There is no prize for second best, Greg is the man and i bet he is going to get good results with the new plugs. Now we have the wear report and photos, we still have a brand new one to show the open source engineers work and promote Rob's plugs, plus have a great new script for the re loaded plasma production to support all.
I am designing a Vexus PCB and have taken many of the different ideas and combined them. Here is my current layout. Any recommendations or advice is greatly welcomed.
It may be a little hard to tell what all is on the board so I will try and describe it:
First there is 80K volt protection. Each diode has a 500k ohm resistor to prevent cascading failure should a diode go bad.
There is a 1 ohm 100w Caddock resister to protect the inverter. Also R1 is a Caddock resister. This will require either a large heat sink or use of a metal case with the resistors mounted to it.
Not shown in this revision is the ability to use different CDI caps (C1). My latest revision has holes for a 10, 22, 33, or 47uF cap.
I was also thinking of having the option of either a voltage doubler or quadrupler.
Once concern that I have is the voltage drop across all the diodes.

Thanks Robin and Luc for the opportunity to help guys.

Hey Ash,
I'm not sure if everyone knows how significant a figure "6%" is. If you use just the published and verifiable figures ... let's say from Volkswagon's vehicle spec sheet ... my VW gained only 12% but that was with a major modification of the ignition system. A 6% gain, with one of the major differences simply being the plugs, is a powerful testimony to the effectiveness of Robin's skilled replications and Kupra's plug concept in general.
My huge gains were based on what I USUALLY got out of the VW ... which was 25 MPG. I think in all good conscience that we should stick to the published data in the case of my effort ... which makes the "6%" figure very, very respectable ! So it's far from second-best.
Hi Guys, always a marvel and privilege to be involved with you guys, now to Robin's defense, we really wore them down, AND ARE USING HYDROXY, we did a lot of K's and we used a standard ignition source, and used different grades of fuels, high octane to premium unleaded etc.
So we really took them too the wall.
We were running the factory ignition system and a 3L/min hydroxy booster.
We tried regular and premium unleaded. Yup, the one on the right is the one we will use to show the public(un used), the one on the left is the worn one.
@Greg 12%
we have a 2.4 liter, dam i gotta ge a booster up to Greg some how, i am gonna beg borrow or steal soon
Now a friend in Melbourne Australia is experimenting with Kiker leads and
a Crane Cams HI 6 CDI and PS91 coil, which is what Robert Krupa used to fire his plugs. Plus he is using them with Brisk Premium LGS plugs. I hope to have some more results with them soon, Robin wonder how your plugs with go with that ignition
